I got these pants for indoor bouldering (mainly) after seeing a cool climber wearing some "very old" prAna pants which were similar but not made anymore. I am probably a size large but I wanted to have a lot of mobility and as much length as possible so I ordered up to XL. I am 5'9" and 165 pounds with athletic build but could lose some off the hips. Anyway the XL is a little big but has a superb wide and soft waistband and a drawstring inside of it. The pants are lightweight. I have another pair of Koen pants (not joggers) which are made of a different fabric. This pair must be for summer because it is made of super silky lightweight fabric. It is soft and flowy. I appreciate that the cinched ankles are not too tight. Overall I love these pants because they let me wear something different than my old black leggings to the bouldering gym, then go off to grab some groceries on the way home. The pants offer conservative coverage, something between baggy casual and styled, with great flexibility. I washed them once so far and dried them on a 20 minute super low heat mode, which brought them to almost fully dry. Good pants.
These fit me super great! I'm 5' 4" smaller waist, thicker legs, size 4 in pants - and the Small fit me great. Not too tight anywhere, a good amount of loose in the legs. Stretchy enough. Great length. Love the color. They are quite thin, so I imagine great for warmer weather, or putting a base layer underneath. Really happy with these.
I have several pairs of Prana Koens and love them but found the joggers to be too big in the legs. I weigh 130 and had a small.
So i'm pretty tiny (5 4", 115lbs). I do have athletic thighs which are usually pretty tight in my jeans. I got an XS which usually fits me fine in other brands but with Prana I ALWAYS find with heir pants that the waist and butt area fit quite loose (I wish they would fix this!!). Thankfully they shrunk a tiny bit in the wash AND the waist belt has a tie so that's helpful. That to say, these are so extremely comfortable!! So stretchy, so durable - I'm a climber and I haven't climbed in anything else since I got them. If i tie them tight enough, the gapping around the waist so bad or noticeable. So be warned if you're petite around the waist! They may gap but you also may want to live in them.
I recently wore these on a trip and back. 2 day travel was no problem for these pants. No odor or signs of 2+ day wear. They were also comfortable on the plane and both countries which were over 50 degrees different. That’s a lot to ask but these pants did it easily. I am 5’1 107 and xs is perfect.
These lightweight joggers have an awesome fit. I did have to return to get a smaller size. Started off with Large/short, way too big in the waist and the length. Returned for medium/short and they were perfect. I am normally in between medium and large. I’m 55 years old at a whooping 5’2 with a curvy athletic body type. The short inseam is still just a touch too long but these pants look and feel great soI don’t care. I have 2 pairs as of now and will be getting another! I’m a walker and a hiker and these pants work great for both. Also wear them to work!
Like that the jogger version of these pants doesn’t have zippered pockets. These run a little long in length for short ladies, but I don’t feel the fit is sloppy. I am obsessed with these pants and hope they never stop making them!
These are lightweight enough to wear under an outer layer if the temps vary throughout the day. I'm petite but have muscular thighs and these are flattering. Many jogger styles....are not.
I love love love these pants. Yes, they are super thin... but in stark contrast to yoga leisure wear, they are so refreshing. They probably run a little big, they do loosen after some wear as well. Ordering them larger than you need is not a good idea. Yet, down 30#, I bought another pair and they fit just as wonderfully as when I was in the size above. I don't think they are as good baggy. The black holds up REALLY well and the fabric is not pilling like some other styles are apt to.
I bought these to use for indoor climbing and they're great - not too loose so they can't get stuck on anything, plenty of stretch so you move easily, and sweat dries out really fast.
