This footprint fits the tent very well. I thoroughly enjoy the way it extends into the vestibule space to keep my gear clean. As I use this tent for both bikepacking and backpacking, I appreciate the lightweight and durable fabric. I will not be using the tent without the footprint, as it increases durability quite a bit. If you’re someone who is okay with a hole or two or three, skip it. If you’re like me and obsess about the well being of your gear as if it were a child, go for the footprint. Well worth it.
