Marmot  Guides Down Hoody - Women's

I like the two-textured finish of the black. I didn't try it out outdoors, so I don't know how the down/ceba flower blend performs at all. It seemed moderately warm when I tried it on the the dry, non-freezing indoors, but who knows. My two-stars off are for the cut. It's sooo voluminous and boxy. First, cold would come in the space at the bottom. Second, it would make layering very difficult. I'm not sure even my extra roomy sized up shell would go over it. If you can pull off the baggy boxy cut (I cannot 😬😬), and you want this as a single outerwear layer for around town use, this could be great. Also, I think the hood would be the wrong size for over or under a helmet. Definitely not technically designed.

disappointed. While the jacket looks great, I was so surprised it only had 2 pockets on the side. That is insufficient to carry keys and a phone, gloves or anything else. The color is great.

Boxy, too big, large arms. I have wide muscular shoulders and usually need a medium in coats. This was too wide for me in the shoulders and arms which almost never is the case with a medium. The picture shows this isn't long enough to cover the bum but wanted to point it out. This seems like more of a fashion puffy. My husband looked at it and told me "no" (and he usually says everything looks good).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: I bought this jacket on sale. It is lightweight and 700 filled down. It is roomy and comfortable fit. Order your normal size. CONS: This jacket is a little too short. Some feathers will come out just like many down coats.
