I’m allergic to down and this is the perfect coat to travel from DC to Texas to New Mexico and on to New York City.! On a plane it is the perfect pillow. It is light weight and keeps me comfortable in a variety of temperatures. I love that in a car I can unzip the opening from the bottom for comfort and freedom. I’m 5’2” so it is quite long, hitting my knees, but it is not cumbersome. It is a breeze to carry it over my arm when I’m indoors and good enough to wear to dressy events!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The women’s echo featherless jacket, is more like a coat in that the length covers all the places I get cold. My neighbor was wearing one and I asked her for the details and I am so glad I ordered one for myself! It is warm, the shape is flattering, not puffy and the hood is extra cozy. It’s two way zipper shows that the designers gave attention to details. I usually only want down jackets but this one has won me over. I am only sad that it’s getting too warm to wear it now that spring has finally come but I know it will be my go to when it gets cold again!
I am allergic to feathers and looked high and low for a warmest winter coat with synthetic filling. They are VERY difficult to find: everyone makes them with down. Marmot has several - thank you! but we need more designs please! Echo Featherless Long Jacket was one of the two in longer length from Marmot, but why do these come in shiny fabric only? My usual size M fit well but I am petite and sleeves are long (as expected). Very light, very warm, and I didn't have zipper problem. Upper arm is a bit wider than ideal, but it wasn't too bad. Salmon color was prettier than I expected. In the end, I couldn't get over shine on the fabric so I had to return, but I am still in search for a warm, long, winter jacket with synthetic insulation and if I can't find one, I may go back to this one since this was the best among I found so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best coat of all time! It's lightweight, flattering, has zippered pockets, a usable hood and provides the right amount of coverage so you can stay warmer in a variety of weather conditions. So far, I have enjoyed my new coat in snow, high wind, and a warm 50 degree day. It's so nice that the lightweight coat can provide so much warmth! It's my first Marmot purchase and certainly won't be my last. Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Echo Featherless Long Jacket is worth every penny. I LOVE everything about it. It is lightweight, simple, stylish, and very warm. I wear XS and it fits me perfectly. This long jacket is just as comfortable as my Echo Featherless Hoody, which I've had 4 years now. The quality is superior compared to other long branded jackets I own.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Echo coat. Sadly I outgrew the first one, but had to get a 2nd! Lightweight, warm, great zippered pockets, fantastic hood that actually fits nicely, great matte color (not shiny), I can wear 1/2 fall, all winter, and like 1/2 spring. I love love love this coat. My daughter is also on her 2nd!
This is a great coat and I wanted it to work for me. However, I’m 5’5” and it’s too long for my body. The XS fit well except for the length which made a crease ay my upper thighs and made the stomach area pop out. Not flattering. I think the coat would work for a taller person.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful blue color. Nice thin warm material. Sleeves are a little longer than I expected. I rolled them up and they look natural. Love the outside zippered chest pocket and bottom zipper to easily get in and out of the car. Happy with my purchase. Great sale.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket for a lightweight layer (a Minnesotan considers this a good jacket for 32-50 F). Runs slightly large. I am a true medium and there’s plenty of room for layering in a Medium. Fabric is not super shiny like some reviews mention.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, yet warm, attractive fit without all the bulkiness. Great hooded jacket for the car and running errands. Love the length coverage without being too long. I found the coat to be true to size, and went with a medium (size 8).
