Happy Child
These are always my sons favorite each year. We have the tan& black pair. They’re very comfortable, thickly lined and warm.
These are great!!
I bought these for my son in store and I cannot get over how cute they look on him. The entire shoe feels very well made and the cold rating for them makes me feel better knowing his little feet will stay warm in even the coldest Nebraska days. I’ve never shopped Merrell but will from now on!
Soaked feet
The boots fit and looked great. I bought the camal colored ones for my 8 yr old boy, but he didn’t have snow pants on when he was playing outside with them and both feet were soaked completely by the time he was done playing. It took 2.5 days for the insides to dry out
wet toes
As the first snowshoes my kids would wear. I wanted to love these. But after an hour in the snow my 3-year-old was shivering cold from his toes being soaked. Same would go for my 8- and 9-year-olds.
Stiff and not very water repellent
We’ve been buying these for our kids the last several years but this year the boots are way stiffer (they do soften up with wear but the first few wears were uncomfortable for my daughter). My daughter’s feet got soaked pretty quick playing in the snow. Not sure what changed but we won’t be buying again.
Soggy Socks
I love the look of these boots and they are comfy but sadly, far from waterproof. I bought these with intent to use for snow but after a 10 min play in the wet grass I’m glad we didn’t make it to the snow in them yet. Completely soaked feet, these are not to be worn unless for dry conditions.
Comfy and waterproof for an active kiddo
Purchased for my some and they fit well, he finds them comfortable, warm and snow- and water-proof. His BFF has had a pair of same for over a year and they still look new so my hope is these will hold up well. Fast shipping and great value.
Please don't
Full disclosure : The 5 year-old does love to drag his feet in the sand. Nonetheless, there is no way to reach this level of wear and tear in just a month without an absolutely trashy product.
