I bought this back in 2020. We have used it 3-4x a year anywhere from 1-4 nights. I love that I can fit my bedding, blankets, 2-4 pillows AND I keep the annex attached. I watch my friends with slimmer RTT and they can’t fit much. I love that I don’t have to put it in the car taking up space. The foam is reasonable, another inch would have been nicer but overall, I love this RTT. One suggestion for Yakima is to make attachments to make this 4 seasons. I have taken it winter camping and while it’s not terrible, the extra layer can make a difference!
We love this car top camper! It's really simple to put together and take down, and really durable. The only challenge is that it's a bit tricky to get on/off of the roof rack because it's big and weighs ~100 pounds, but that's going to be true for any tent. The ladder angle is a little tricky to get right, but it's a really spacious tent, easy to pack up, etc. Would buy again for sure.
Arrived with several broken clips and the rain fly came apart at the seams during the first use. Returned.
Tent was missing mounting hardware, ladder hardware, and tent poles. Very disappointing for such an expensive product.
