Lacking the signature Topo wide toe box!
No, I do not recommend this product
I have worn the Topo Ultraventure Trail runner since that line was launched. Always fit perfectly, comfortably and blister free out of the box. My go to for backpacking, hiking, and about town. I wanted a waterproof for travel but the Terraventure was too rugged a shoe for about town usage. So to the road I went and Topo's Phantom 4 WP running shoes. Out of the box and on my feet and- what, where is that wide toe box? Shoe felt very tight, no ability to splay toes and could tell there would be rubbing on sides. When I held my Ultraventure 4 sole-to-sole with the Phantom, there was a clear difference in forefoot width, If you have a narrow foot (C or less) may not matter but for most of us who value that roomy toe box, Topo missed the mark here.

Toe box narrower than non-WP version
I needed a waterproof shoe, but the store only had the non-WP Phantom 4 in stock, so that's what I tried on. It felt like all my other Topos, so I went home and ordered the Phantom 4 WP online. The toe box was not the same as the non-WP. Returned. I love Topos, but this would not work for me.

Great Cushion Size up
Yes , I recommend this product
The shoe is incredibly comfortable but size up at least 1/2 size to allow for the thickness of the waterproofing materials. The shoe laces are terrible and don't stay tied even when double knotted. How is that possible?
