The pants come with a liner of polyester-like jersey material. The liner is like a separate pant within the outer pants and is sewn down into the hem and waistband. In my Bay Area (Calif) winter, It's warm enough for running errands during the day and early evenings, but not warm enough (for me) to sit at outdoor events. When putting on the pants, it's best to be bare footed. With socks on, the liner bunches up on my foot and gets stuck. You can also put them on by bunching up each pant leg and feeding your foot through, then pulling the pant leg up. Very similar to putting on pantyhose.
Perfectly lined and super comfortable! I needed warm pants for winter in the PNW and these are perfect. I got them for morning walking pants but now that I know how comfy they are I may wear them all the time! Runs big. I got a size small when usually I would wear a medium (size 6, 5’9, 168).
I wanted to like these, as they are very soft and comfortable, but they are far too short for me. I can sometimes get away with a 32” inseam (like on the unlined version of this pant), but these are more like a 29-30” inseam. Disappointed that there’s no tall/long version of the Dynama pant.
Mountain Hardwear makes pants for my body shape - waist smaller than butt and thighs. I'm 5'9" 215 lbs and wear a size L. So happy with the fit and with pants that move with me.
These are a nice quality, basic hiking pants. No frills (no extra pockets or loops, etc), but cozy with a brushed lining. I got them large enough to wear with a base layer for extra warmth, but found them large around the hips and waist even with the extra layer. They cinch up well enough, but that created some bulk. I would have preferred some elastic rather than a drawstring, at least across the back - but I can alter them myself to my liking.
It didn’t seem possible to me that the Dynama pants, lined pants and shorts (yes, I bought all three this year!) could be improved but they have. The waist has a pull string loop that allows a comfortable fit and the leg is not as baggy as my prior 8 pairs 😂. I never had the lined version until now and it’s perfect to get me through California winters. Thank you for the improvements!!!
I have two pair of Mountain Hardwear dynamo pants (unlined) and this lined pair in the same size fits fine. These lined pants are so cozy I don’t want to take them off! I wish they came in other colors, though.
Very comfortable pair of pants! For someone like me - 51 yrs old, 5'8", 180 lbs of muscle (of course), these pants are made from forgiving fabric and stretchy waist band. I purchased M-Regular size, and the fit is just right. Even though these are pull-on pants, they still have front and back pockets - every girls dream!
These are great pants for those cold morning dog walks. I love the extra lining for a little more warmth. Unlike some other lined pants, you can easily slip them on with socks and longjohns. This is my second pair.
Too big and too short. Fabric is cheap. I have the summer version and didnt realize it was the same fabric which builds linth after a few washes.
