I love my new Teca Fleece jacket and it has been cold enough lately for me to wear it. The colors are so beautiful and I even gave one to my girlfriend for her birthday (REI) and she loves hers too! I also recently read an article about how you send damaged items to Marge, the Mama Lama and I loved that. I’m so impressed with your philosophy around sustainability and reducing your carbon footprint. I also love the hat and Fanny pack I bought from you. One of your stores (in El Segundo, at The Point) is opening this summer and I am very excited to see it!

I recently bought the Cotopixi jacket, and I absolutely love it. The quality is outstanding — the material feels durable yet comfortable, and the stitching looks premium. I like this fleece, but don't love it. The color combo is really unique and I love the look. The large collar is also pretty great. I ordered up to a large after reading reviews, and the fit is still off for me. The bottom hem is at an odd length (kind of long), and very tight; I have to sort of roll it under itself to sit properly. I'd rather it a bit shorter, and no constriction at the hem. The fleece material itself is also pretty thin; I was surprised by that. If times were more normal, I would have likely sent it back, but that's difficult right now, so I kept it. And, like I said, it does look cool. Just not thrilled over it.

I had my eye on this fleece for a while and wish I would have pulled the trigger sooner! It is so comfortable. Fits so well. There are so many well made details that were a nice surprise. For example, the inner side of the neck that makes contact with your skin is lined with silky smooth fabric. There are extra pockets inside the jacket. The color is beautiful. It’s just a really great piece. I was concerned that it may not fit well as I am curvy (and strong and healthy!) but many outdoor brands have an “athletic fit”, but this jacket is shaped to where it fits my gorgeous curves nicely! So cute, the Ocean Avenue colorway is perfection! Great fit with just the right amount of room, warm, and I love the stand collar -- keeps my neck nice and cozy. Only place for possible improvement is that I wish the pockets had the fuzzy/ flocked lining like the Cubre fleece (instead of just the poly taffeta, which feels a bit cold against bare hands...) BUT, it's a minor point, and doesn't make me love this jacket any less. Loved it so much, I even ordered one as a gift for the hubby. And, more importantly, so psyched it's made from repurposed materials. I'm 5' and 105 pounds, and the XS was great -- not too fitted so that you can layer, but still slim enough-looking.

Hi. I'm 5'3", 114 or so. I LOVED the look of this online and wanted to love it in person. Unfortunately, when I tried it on, I was so bummed. The XS should fit. But it's boxy, zero waist cut (the photo online is actually incorrect...it's a complete square in the torso) and sleeves are at least 3 inches too long and way bigger in circumference than my arms. Returning stuff is a pain in Covid, so I almost never do it and just give things, but unfortunately, this item is a miss. Thinking maybe this company is just adjusting down a male pattern. Sad. I know this is a wonderful company...my two masks are great.

I absolutely love the color. I’m between a size small and medium and went with a small for a more slim fit. The sleeve length is perfect. It washes well. My complaints pertain to the collar and coziness. The collar slouches and folds down after a few minutes of wear and I’m constantly straightening it up. It rolls and tucks in at the back of my neck and looks and feels weird. If I were to compare the Teca to my TNF, Marmot or Columbia fleece tops, I’d say the Teca is the least warm. A breeze will go right through it. It’s not fluffy and is a little on the thin side. I understand a shell would help. I really wanted to love this brand because of their mission and appealing colors.
