[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I overheat super easy and sleeping bags tend to make me pretty uncomfortable. I bought a marmot bag years ago and it was my absolute favorite. Super lightweight and compact, it keeps me warm but never overheated and there was never any issues with the zippers. I ended up loosing that bag and not buying a new one for a couple years. I finally decided to get a new bag and figured marmot would be the best place to look. It turns out not only did they still make the same bag it's not made out of more eco-friendly materials! I ordered the bag and got it very quickly in the mail and am very pleased with my purchase. I can't wait to be able to go out with my own sleeping bag again!
Lol every time I see this bag advertised anywhere I feel compelled to leave a review. I bought this bag new, and always stored it uncompressed and flat. The first couple times I used it the temperature was between 40-50 and I was cold. I thought maybe that was fair, that the 30 rating is survival not comfort. I just pulled this bag out again to camp a few low-60's (and dry) nights, and I was STILL CHILLY. I am not even a cold sleeper! If this bag isn't warm enough unless it's in the 70's, and a normal cotton sheet or the thinnest synthetic blanket keeps me warm in those temps, why would I use this claustrophobic mummy bag? I feel like I'm in crazy world and this bag is like some sort of COOLING technology! Maybe I'm on to something and will use this to feel cool when temps don't go below 80's !
At this point I have only used the sleeping bag for 2 nights in Central Florida. The first night the low temp was 42 degrees F. I was plenty warm even had to unzip the sleeping bag at times. I look forward to using the sleeping bag on my trip to Torres Del Paine in December this year. Keep in mind that this bag comes in either a left or right zip. Some websites only carry one zipper configuration. My first bag was a right zip bag. As a right handed person, this was awkward for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a comfy well insulated sleeping bag. It comes witha compression sack and is pretty light. FUlled all the requirements for what we wanted at a great price.
