[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 from Brooks is amazing! It is super comfortable and flattering. It does not ride up during runs and keeps the warmth in. The fabric is light weight yet still has the warmth you would find with a heavy down vest. I love the buttons on the front that can be used to allow more air flow on hot days and the front zipper that keeps all the warmth in on cold days. The high collar is great for blocking the wind and the pockets are perfect size for my phone. The pocket zip ensures my pocket contents will not go flying out during runs. Overall, this is a great running vest that I use on almost every run!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I am so impressed with this vest! All the thought-out details are much appreciated!! The material feels luxurious and top quality all while being durable! As advertised "it's all the warmth without the bulk'" it's lined and the neck goes up high enough to give you the much needed extra warmth! I'm 5'8 134lb. And I went with my usual size medium and It fits perfectly! I have been searching for a vest to go from my jogs on our driveway in the PNW to running my kids to appts and this is absolutely perfect! My new go-to! I'm loving the new updated larger spacing between the seams! Now I just need it in another color too!
Perfect for those cooler days with wind chill. Kept me warm yet not bulky.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new hybrid vest is a great balance of weight and warmth. The stretchy fabric around the sides and back area provided a great amount of flexibility and both the neck and arm holes were just the right cut- not too constricting but not overly huge. The pockets were a decent size; I could easily fit my phone. I really liked the extra smaller pocket within the pocket which fit my key and my wireless earbud. It is true to size (I got a medium and am 5’5”), but I wish it was just a smidge longer for my colder morning runs. That being said, it transitions great to a casual indoor vest because it isn’t super heavy. Overall, I really did like this vest and plan to add it to my rotation for both workout wear and casual wear this season.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super comfortable vest. It fits snug but not tight. I wear a long sleeved shirt under it and am able to wear a variety of jackets over it - even slim fitting jackets. It does not cut into my armpits like a lot of things do. The design is perfect for any sport- running, hiking, power walking. It zips up and down well. There are snaps under the zipper to keep it shut and keep the wind out. There are usable pockets for anything you run with. And there is a small loop on the back to hang the vest up. The fabric is very comfortable. It is form fitting but stretchy at the same time. It breaths well and moves well, but also keeps your core very warm. Overall, this is a great addition to my running wardrobe and I’ll be wearing this on a daily basis.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really been enjoying using the Brooks 3.0 running vest. It just started getting cold in California where I live so this has been a blessing every morning while it's still cold and a bit Frosty out there to get my daily miles in. The fit is wonderful with a lot of pockets the neckline is extremely comfortable the best fits well and is cozy enough to be worn through spring autumn and winter. This is going to be my go-to vest for my early morning and late night runs and so far I've been loving it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great addition to my winter running wardrobe. The fit is perfect. Not bulky but perfect amount of warmth. I’ll wear it for runs in the 20’s and it adds the perfect amount of warmth. Wore it for a race yesterday (Feb in NH) with morning temps in the teens. Just had one layer under it and I was comfortable. If it were a training run I would’ve had an extra layer or opted for the shield jacket (which I also have and love) as I would’ve been cooler running at an easy pace. Originally I sized up due to reviews but returned and ordered my normal size. The larger size was comfortable but too lose and cold air would come up at the waist line. I’m 5’8/155 and medium is perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 is a great layering piece and quickly became one of my go-to items. It provides just the right amount of warmth without feeling bulky, and it’s perfect for cooler mornings or transitional weather. The material blocks wind well while still being breathable, which makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The fit is flattering and true to size, and I appreciate how easy it is to move in — it doesn’t feel restrictive at all. It works equally well for outdoor activities and everyday wear. Overall, this vest is well-made, versatile, and practical. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight but effective layering option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This best is one of the best ones I’ve worn in a long time. The back lower half is made of a stretchy material making it completely non restrictive and comfortable. It is thin enough to wear while running but warm enough that i am able to wear less layers and feel comfortable for my entire run. I have never over heated while running and needed to take it off and i also have never felt like i wished it was any warmer. It is my new go-to vest.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a newer runner just getting started, the Brooks Shield Hybrid Vest 3.0 has been incredibly helpful in making my runs more enjoyable. The warm yet lightweight fabric keeps me comfortable during my runs, striking the perfect balance between insulation and breathability. It is warm, but not bulky and looks very sleek. One of the features I appreciate the most is the zippered pockets. They easily fit my phone and my headphones case. Plus, there’s a smaller pocket specifically for my key, which feels very secure. The pockets fit snugly against my body, so I don’t feel anything shifting around as I run. It’s great not to worry about anything falling out while I’m on the move. I did notice that the vest runs small—I usually wear a small, but I went with a medium, and it fits perfectly. Overall, this vest has been a fantastic addition to my running gear. It combines comfort, practicality, and style, making my transition into running that much smoother!
