Someone I know recommended that I purchase a Helly Hansen jacket since they have one (made of PU) that works well for them even in torrential downpours. I found this one and it shipped quickly to me. The blue color was bright and cheerful. I ordered a medium (I'm usually a small/medium) to ensure I had room for layering which I did, though it wasn't baggy on me. I would say it fits true to size. The zipper was smooth and wasn't rough or sharp like some zippers are. There were pockets which I appreciated and they had the same nice zipper as the front one. The jacket as a whole was nice and light and I think it would stow away nicely. The fabric was waterproof, but was almost felt like canvas or a thin tarp material. I wasn't sure it would hold up to a fantastic storm like I needed, so I ended up returning the jacket to purchase a PU material one like my friend's. This jacket was great though and I would recommend it to most people, as it should suit most purposes just maybe not hurricane weather.
