I absolutely love this two-tone puffer jacket! It's super warm and stylish with its cream & tan color block design. The fit is great and the hood adds extra protection from the cold. Perfect for dog walking and snowshoeing. . Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, fashionable jacket!
I’ve owned the Fuego Down Hooded Jacket for at least five years, and it has held up extremely well. However, since I live in a colder part of the country, I decided it was time to upgrade to the Max version. I can confidently say the Max is noticeably warmer. It also sits higher on the neck for better coverage, and when the hood is up, it fits more securely and comfortably around the head compared to the original Fuego. Regarding size, I will add the Max has a little more room, especially in the chest, shoulders, and abdomen. Overall, I’m very pleased with the upgrade and appreciate the thoughtful improvements made to my beloved Fuego of five years.
I seriously love my Fuego Max jacket. It is SO warm and perfect for wearing outside on walks with my puppy, but it’s also amazing for outdoor adventures. No matter what I’m doing, it keeps me super cozy. I’m also really impressed with the quality. The fabric feels durable and well-made, and you can tell it was made with care. It feels high quality but still comfortable and easy to wear. Honestly, this is my favorite jacket to wear. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
Loved the fun color combination plus the fact that it is light to wear and keeping me warm. Have few more similar puffer jackets but Cotopaxi is a must have !
Excited for this new jacket! My new fuego max is so light I didn't think it would be warm. . . But it is amazing and toasty especially while hiking and moving. I have a fuego that I have worn to death, lol, from about 3 years ago and it weighs the same and is sooooo warm especially when moving. Its a bit boxy but thats great for layering. I will see how durable it is with time, since the outside is so soft it seems like it would not be as tough. I'd say it is roomier than my old fuego, they are both XS, I am 5'1" and around 120 lbs.
So, I live in Florida where it doesn’t get cold compared to the majority of the country but, this winter season has been different. I ordered the jacket a few weeks ago AFTER the horrible cold weather thinking I wouldn’t need it this season. I am so grateful I have it as we are in the middle of ANOTHER cold snap. I have worn it the last few days and am so grateful to have it. It is a very warm jacket, comfortable and fitsnperfectly with layers. I ordered a small and was worried I wouldn’t be able to wear it with layers so I was happy to see I could wear it with layers and also, wear it w/o layers and it not be too big or cumbersome. My son lives in the PNW and I bought the Fuego Parka a few years ago to wear when I’m there and it is perfect, I also used it here in FL when we had the earlier cold snaps. Because I loved the Parka I felt the jacket would be great for Florida and it is! I would recommend both the jacket I just bought and the Parka I bought a few years ago.
I’m getting older, and with that, it’s harder to stay warm. I have a couple of poly filled jackets/coats, but they are not nearly as warm and comfortable as this jacket it. I’m going to wear this one out! I usually wear a large and this one is right there with a bit of room for a sweater. I was worried about the size L waist size, which is a few inches smaller than I am, but it was just right!
I splurged on this for my honeymoon because I want to look back at the photos and think “wow I look so cool”. This jacket is stylistically and functionally everything I wanted. I probably could’ve gone down a size but I am between a S-M and didn’t want it to be tight. It runs pretty true to size. It is very soft and I love that it can collapse down to a small pouch
This is my third Cotopaxi jacket. Between the Fuego Max and the regular Fuego there is little difference. Good for San Francisco kind of weather. I am 5’3 - 150lb and ordered L. Fits like a glove! Excellent quality and color combination light weight for travelling. Would not be good if it is cold and windy. The outer layer is relatively thiner than Mountain Hardware jackets.
I love this coat! It's amazing how warm it is given the lack of bulk. It checks the boxes for both function and fashion, as it looks great, too. I got the cream/khaki because I wanted the color blocking effect but also the versatility of neutrals. I am 5'9", and often I find the arms are too short in clothes, but the length in this coat is perfect!
