Not worth the price tag
While incredibly cozy, the quality does not justify the $140 price tag. Despite following all manufacturer care instructions, the durability is severely lacking. Key Issues: Excessive Pilling: The pilling is "neverending." It appeared almost immediately and persists regardless of careful washing. Cuff Deterioration: The ribbed cuffs are fraying and balling up, making a premium jacket look worn out and cheap. Fleece Matting: The high-pile "luxe" fabric loses its texture quickly, clumping together rather than staying soft. Verdict: Great for comfort, but a total failure in longevity. I expected much higher quality from The North Face
Shedding
Washed it once according to the care label and it is shedding on everything.
Cozy
The fabric is great. Very soft and thick. I've been wearing it around the house for about a month and it functions as a sort of shortie robe in the mornings. Haven't washed it yet so don't know if it will have the same shedding problem that another reviewer mentions. The reason I only wear it indoors is that the bottom edging is tight which results in it riding up and bunching up around the waist. Not a good look. It's bomber jacket styling so to be expected but it's excessively so. I purchased it at a good sale price so for me it was worth it for how I'm using it.
Warm Cozy Sweater
Great warm sweater. I was expecting it to be thin but it wasn’t and warmer than I thought it was going to be. I love it. The only thing is that is does leave fuzzy stuff but I don’t mind it worth the sale price. I’m 5’3 and 172 lbs I usually get a large but went with a medium bc of other reviews saying it was a bit oversize. I was worried because I’m top heavy and thought it wouldn’t fit the chest area. It fit great and not tight on the chest. Glad I sized down.

Soft and warm, but only good for bumming around town or errands. This type of fleece is not for hiking.
