Great mittens, very warm. They are somewhat stiff and they hold your hand in an "open" position and kind of hard to close. Not a big deal, might be a problem with something like ski or hiking poles. Also I followed the sizing charts exactly and the wrist opening is so tight I almost can't get my hand in, but once in it seems like the right size
These are by far the best winter mitts I've ever owned. This winter, Northern Alberta experienced some cold and windy days (-40C without the windchill), I walk to work which is about 2.5km and these gloves help my hands nice and warm. Other than walking, I've used them to shovel and snow blow a couple of times, but nothing of the athletic sort.
I bought these mitts for a -25 degree ski competition and I couldn't be happier with these mitts. My hands were kept warm the entire weekend which made me able to get more training laps in before the comp. These Mitts did not disappoint and i will be for sure to get another pair when time comes.
My hands get so cold. I can’t ski and take my hands out to do things with bare hands because of circulation issues. These are so warm as I looked for a nice fitting greatly insulated mitten (gloves are out of the question for me).
I bought this mitt to try out on cold days. I have only worn it once as not cold enough yet to wear it. It will be interesting if I like it better than the guide finger glove.
I just got these, testing them out next week but I tried them on and they seem perfect for the slopes - they’re warm but little stiff (I think they’ll loosen up with time)
These were rated for -20F. I wore them in -10F weather and my hands were feeling very cold after 15 minutes outdoors. Very expensive purchase with disappointing results.
This are warm and compact- exactly what I was looking for in a mitt. They kept my hands warm on a subzero degree day, and they fit nicely in my ski shell cuff.
Very happy with these mitts, very warm and comfy. Seem durable too. The only negative is the leash, not stretchy. I changed it out for the add on BD leash.
The gloves are well-made. The only downside is that they have an elastic around the wrist area that is not adjustable so it is a bit tight putting them on.
