Spark Mitts are constant go-to!
I've had a few different years of the Spark Mitt, tried both the Unisex and Women's and love them! I have to say I like the unisex fit a bit better as it seems a bit wider in the palm. I am female and have small hands, but still prefer the unisex fit. I love them so much that there is a pair in each of my winter backpacks. They are warm, great flexibility, and great fit. Can't say enough good things about them. I have Reynauds and get very cold fingers - these mitts work for me in most snow+aerobic adventure. For lift service I need a heated mitt.
Great Quality. Sizing Runs Small.
These gloves are clearly high quality, so I'm excited about that. The sizing in my opinion runs small. I used the size chart and was surprised to see I measured out at SMALL, where I'd normally wear MEDIUM. These ended up being almost impossible to put on. I then ordered MEDIUM and they were still too tight. I finally went up to LARGE which I've never worn in any glove. Although I think they'll be great, they too feel a little on the claustrophobic side. I'd still prefer them to be roomier, but think they'll soften up over time.
My Second Pair
These mitts are my favorite downhill ski mitts. I am on my second pair. Both pairs have a tight wrist area with strap ( keeps the cold and snow out) and warm and roomy hand/finger area. the new version comes with a leash strap - a nice addition that keeps the mitts from falling in the snow after taking them off for whatever reason. Great Mitts
2nd time buyer!
I love the spark mitts. I purchased the previous model two years back and got the all black color this time. Such great quality leather, love the feel and warmth of these! The cuff is a bit wider than previous model, that's my only gripe as I liked the low profile cuff of the previous model. Love these!
Spark mitts do amazing
Wanted to try a pair of mitts instead of gloves like I’ve ran for many years now. Could be happier with the spark mitt on their maiden journey. Was an early wet ski day and they performed great. Hands stayed dry and warm the entire time and they seem like they’ll last for years.
Did a lot of research
My fingers were FREEZING - we were skiing on 10 degrees (F) days this Jan in Utah and liners+gloves weren't doing the job. I did a lot of research and ended up choosing the spark mitts. they just did a much better job keeping my fingers much warmer. Would recommend.
Warmest mitts I own
Immediately had a chance to use these mitts in 17-20 F deg weather. They performed perfectly and were too warm to wear at times. The internal individual finger sleeves are a nice feature and keeps the mitts aligned with my hand.
Looks good and is nice and warm
Mittens work great and feel warm and soft on the inside. The only drawback is that they run a little small according to BD's sizing chart and are tighter around the wrist than I'd like. Otherwise they're great.
The inner liner is really
The inner liner is really nice and provides the feel of a glove and warmth of the mitten. This is really nice on the slopes for holding poles when needed to navigate the hill
The best
This is my second pair of Spark Mits. My first pair has about 75 days of skiing in them. They are durable, warm, and comfortable. This is the only mitten I’ll buy.
