lightweight and warm but loud
I bought this for backpacking and it works fine as a light weight pad that is easy to inflate and pretty well insulated and tiny. The cons are that it’s crazy loud to sleep on, crinkling and squeezing every time you move. It took me a few tries to get it comfortable which for me was so deflated that my hip almost touched the ground but I’m a bad sleeper so it might work great for someone who has more noise tolerance less comfort needs. I bought it full price so I was a little disappointed about the cons but at half price r it’s a good pad.
More comfort and insulation!
I wish more people knew about Sea to Summit’s women-specific sleeping pads and bags. It’s a great initiative and honestly is more comfortable. I exchanged the unisex one I had bought for the women’s after realizing it was indeed more comfortable. Highly highly recommend, since they are the same price.
Lightweight and comfy
We recently had to replace our Big Agnes AXL air pads because due to leaks (after many uses). This pad is a bit more bulky but so much more comfortable and warmer. Highly recommend.
Comfy pad
I switched from using noisy therm-a-rest pads that always seemed to start leaking somewhere after a few uses to this one. While heavier than I would like it is quiet and warm and much softer and the shape is much better for me. It’s worth it to haul around for the ability to rest.
Mattress started exploding when traveling in car.
Just bought this two weeks ago for a fishing trip in Oregon. Worked great. Then was using on a road trip in back of Tesla. When hitting his elevations on I-70 east of Glenwood Springs, an elevation of 10,000 plus feet, the mattress started exploding. Five or six pops over a 10 min period of time. Thought it was water bottles but when I stopped I found the mattress exploded. What the heck!!!!
Comfy but noisy
Bought after online sites said this was good for side sleepers. Any movement caused a lot of creaking! It’s comfy though the noise is unbearable.
