Most comfortable pad I've tried
I have tried every big name brand sleeping pad on the market and this one is by far the most supportive and comfortable. I have trouble with bursitis and all other pads have pressure points that cause pain. This pad distributes my weight evenly. Great quality as well.

Favorite pad yet, problem with design causes leaks
I have used this pad for probably over 100 nights at this point. I'm a Trail Worker, long distance hiker, and former Wilderness Ranger, and this pad has kept me extremely comfortable almost every night. It's thick, quiet, and plenty warm for most trips. After 40-50 nights or so, I was having to wake up every 2 hours to re-inflate because I was hitting the ground with my hips/shoulders while side sleeping. I had gotten used to it, but finally decided to throw some patches on one day. I found SEVEN holes on the pad, all on the top of the pad, which was very surprising to me. No holes on the bottom (great!), which has definitely seen pokey conditions; one hole in a crease near the seam, which makes sense with repeated use; SIX holes on the edges of the air cell dimples. Four of those were at chest level and two at knee level. Obviously, this is an issue because I now know exactly where every future hole will be. After patching, I took it back out on an 8-day trip and it was like new. The next 8-day trip, it was back to deflating. It would be almost flat by about 3 or 4 AM. I'm hesitant to even patch it again at this point, because I know it will continue to get holes in the same place. You can see pictures of some of the patches below. I've loved this pad, but I will be looking at other options going forward.

Best pad ever

I used this pad all summer of 21 and into the late fall. I'm 6'6" and 225lbs. I bought the regular size for its weight and ,considering I'm a side sleeper, didn't need the extra length. This pad is super comfy and at 4" thick keeps my hips off the ground when laying on my side. The included pillow attachment system keeps the pillow in place when pairing it with the aeros pillow which works great. I recently had this mattress on an overnight trip that got down to 30 degrees and never felt the cold from the ground. The included blow up sack works great and ill never go back to blowing up a mattress manually haha. So glad I bought this pad.

Best inflatable pad I've ever owned

As I noted in the review title; this is the best inflatable sleeping pad I've ever owned, going back about 20 years. I purchased this pad during the summer of 2021 to lighten my carry load on a cross country trip where I camped in a variety of conditions (wooded ground, rocky ground, hammock). Since that trip, I've used the pad at least twice a month with no issues. The pad is everything S2S advertises - easy to inflate, easy to pack, lightweight, and perfect for side sleepers. This checks almost all of my boxes for a sleeping pad, putting this product in my Pantheon of great outdoor purchases.

So comfy but inevitably fails

My husband and I were delighted by the comfort of this pad when we first tried this pad a few years ago and purchased one for each of us. Unfortunately both of those failed at the seams of the dot welds after about a year. Sea to Summit did replace them under warranty, but the replacements have since also failed in the same way. We have tried to patch them, but they keep getting more and more leaks. I really wish Sea to Summit would improve their seam design because we loved these sleeping pads so much, but can’t justify buying a sleeping pad that seems doomed to fail after about a year.

Really comfortable for a side sleeper, 1YR leak

I've used this pad on a number of car camping and backpacking trips now, probably 30 nights total thus far. It's super comfortable to sleep on as a side sleeper. The noisiness of it seemed to go down as I used it more, but it's not the quietest pad when new. I've used it in temps down to 35F with no added pad and it still worked well. After a year it developed a leak in a similar spot as others have had. In one of the concave cells on top a pinhole leak developed. I don't think it was due to an actual outside puncture. I patched it and just went on a 6 night trip and it was fine the whole time, no new leaks. I still wouldn't hesitate to recommend the pad due to its comfort and relatively low weight but can't give it 5 stars.

Bad design, multiple leaks on cells

2 different pads, both developed multiple leaks along their "sprung cells". I've patched them and the patches eventually start to come up as the pinholes press air against them as you sleep. If not for the leaks, this is a great pad - but repeated leaks in the same design locale on both pads shows poor design. Sad, because these have a superior inflating system compared to other brands too. These pads are benched in favor of therm-a-rests from REI.

Doesn’t last

I thought this was a great product….at first. I used the pad on 3 separate trips. The first was perfect. Stayed aired up all night, no issues. 2nd trip it was a little flat in the morning. 3rd trip had to wake up 2-3 times a night because It was completely flat. I aired it up and found that it was leaking from almost every single dot weld that holds the top and bottom together. Hopefully the warranty department comes through, but I don’t want a replacement.

Great for Side Sleepers but Pad Leaks

Pad started leaking around day 30 of a 90 day trip. All leaks are on the top of the pad in the shoulder and hip areas. Currently at 10 patches and still leaking. Seems to be a common problem that for $200 should be addressed. For a side sleeper the pad was awesome when it worked.

perfect

I had messed with so many ultra lite options before buying this. I was stubbornly trying to convince myself that the thin mattresses were comfortable or acceptable for me... waking up sore and uncomfortable... I finally bought this thing and OH MAN.... it made a world of difference. Absolutely LOVE it. Just used it for the first time while climbing Matterhorn peak in the eastern Sierras... after a long day of climbing I slept like a baby on this thing and woke up fresh. I have the pillow that works with it too... phenomenal... buying another for my wife now...
