I tried mounting this on a mountain bike and on a road bike. It doesn’t work for either. It doesn’t stick out enough on a road bike for you to see behind you. On a mountain bike with flat handlebars it doesn’t have the flexibility to move the mirror so you can see behind you. Don’t buy this.
Easy installation and strongly made.
Great bar-end mirror from the makers of Spurcycle bells ... easy to install and large enough to actually see behind me without having to wiggle around. I had their R-35 mirror previously, and while built the same, the smaller size made it more difficult to use.
Improve situational awareness
While it might not be the sexiest looking bar mirror, it captures a large amount of rear landscape and truly beats any helmet mirror since the latter is useless unless you're looking straight ahead. Tilt your head down when using your drops and a helmet mirror shows the clouds!
Works Perfectly
Easy to install and adjust. Takes some getting use to, but exactly what I was looking for.
