Disappointed with construction
I was so disappointed with the quality of this item. I own a Mountain Hardwear fleece jacket that was worn and ready for replacement. This item didn't even come close to the quality of the one I have. It is not medium weight at all - lightweight at best. There is no lining or anything included for warmth. Overall, the materials feel cheap and flimsy - not what I had come to expect from this company.
Women’s MH high loft hoodie is so much better than the men’s.
I love my high loft jacket and wanted one with a hood. I saw that MH has one for men but the hood is of a different material. I want that cozy feel of the body also for my head and face. This is why I tried the women’s version. I had to adjust the size I chose, luckily the large works, I usually wear a small. No issues with anatomy variations, the women’s version doesn’t have the usual darts to accommodate a women’s anatomy. So glad I’m not a big person, otherwise I’d be out of luck.
So cozy
This jacket is my go-to. It's supremely soft, warm but breathable. Works great as a layering piece if it's wet or windy out, and perfectly well on its own on a brisk sunny day.
