These boots are warm and comfortable. The tread is grippy enough for navigating the unplowed streets of central Ohio, which is what I bought them for. They will also be good for local hikes in the snow, ice and mud this winter. I always worry about blisters but have felt nothing but comfort on 3 mile jog/walks I've been doing with my dog. At first try on I thought they were too small, but I walked around inside for a day and they were the right size.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really wanted to love these boots!! But with my orthotics, they still did not feel comfortable enough for me. The boot overall has great quality and durability. I'm normally a size 7.5 but it was little too snug with my orthotics and warm socks so I exchanged them for the 8. Definitely had more room with the 8 but still did not feel right (my arch felt like it was collapsing while the outer edge of my foot felr raised). I think these boots would do well for those who didn't have complicating foot and knee issues like myself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these boots! The colors, patterns, and materials totally spoke to me. However, the neoprene, which I thought would add more flexibility to the top of the shoe, was actually too tight, so when I walked the back of the boot rubbed against my Achilles tendon. Had to return - such a shame! :(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boots are a nice colour very smart looking, only worn once for a short walk and have kept my feet warm and dry, will be able to comment better when I go on my longer hikes so far so good I usually get a size 4.5 but sized up to a 5 after reading other reviews so glad I did
The adidas female boots are decent & welcome this past challenging winter, but they are slightly uncomfortable at the ankle and sock adjustments had to be made. Great in the snow & slipping on treacherous conditions is not a factor / just wish they fit better ‼️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buy a size bigger. I wear a men's 10 and the one I received was a 10.5 and it was a little too snug. Solid built and warm. The top rides a little too high and rubs my ankles. These will be stored away for my son to wear in a couple yrs. Nice looking boot tho
These are the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever worn. The pressure points on the ankles are painful. I wear a lot of Adidas and these are terrible. I honestly don’t know how they passed quality control. Could not return them fast enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my kind of trainer style hiking boot. Only gave one star less as quite snug. Recommend sizing up especially if wearing thick hiking socks. I went up a half size and still could do with being a bit roomier.
Was looking for a winter dog-walking boots that can grip snow and icy patches and these boots are absolutely perfect for the task. Note : size up half a size for better fit with thicker socks.
Happy with purchase. Will shop again with REI. I like the shorter style. Comfortable walking the dog and to from work. Feet warm and I use alpaca winter socks in NY.
