Patagonia  R1 Air Zip-Neck Pullover - Men's

Always wanted to get this and had been shopping around waiting for a deal. It was $200 plus tax full price but snagged it for $71 on an REI sale. Lightweight, breathable and surprisingly warm. Pair with a sweatwicking tee and then a puffer or rain shell to block the wind on a backpacking trip or just with regular tee to the office on a cold day. The fit perfect for me. Not baggy but just "big" enough to layer both ways. Loved the green color and it worked well on my 3 day backpacking trip to the John Muir wilderness in California.

Pretty great for activities where you need something slightly warmer than a t-shirt but still breathable. Warmth wise, this is closer to a long sleeve running shirt than a fleece and I really felt every slight gust of wind. Long chest zipper also worked wonders for temperature regulation. Ultimately returned because I didn't like the fit. It has a pretty slim fit (similar to the regular R1) and sizing up didn't help much, just made it longer.

I have a R1 Air (FA25) that I’ve grown to love. Depending on weather and comfort level, it can be worn standalone, with a base layer, with a wind shell, or in combination, and will cover a wide variety of temperatures. It offers warmth but is quite breathable. I’ve worn it hiking and backpacking and thus far the durability has been great. I was skeptical of the R1 Air at first, but with time I understand all the great reviews. Fit-wise, I’m 5’11”, big chest, 195-200# and the XL fits great. A large fits, too, if I want a snugger fit. From town to the trails, this performs exceptionally well.

Light weight and the perfect top layer for a fall day in the North. Sizing is a bit tight, I have 1 in large that fits snug and a XL that fits a bit looser. 6 ft 195 medium build

I work in an office 4 days a week and hike almost every weekend. This hits that perfect balance of suitable for either condition. Whether sitting at a desk, walking though the office, trekking through a creek or summiting a mountain, this does its job!

My husband loves this ! I had to talk him into it because of the price point. Fits great and looks so good on him. It has been so comfy for him in our chageable AK weather. Washes like a dream and still looks brand spanking new.

Super confortable mid layer or stand alone piece. It has become an immediate go to cover and looks good ifor most daily events.

The fleece is very nice. I received the packaging and opened it to discover it was filled with over 100 black ants.

Incredibly comfortable, perfect light weight layer (lighter than the Better Sweater).

Very nice pullover. Great for both a nice shirt and for wearing hiking or camping.
