[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend was the model for this one and he liked it! We played in the snow for scientific purposes and it kept him dry the entire time. When I threw a snowball at him it bounced off like nothing. It doesn’t really provide warmth, but it’s good to layer over warmer clothes to keep them dry. He would have liked pockets, but still gives it 5 stars. It does have a small pocket that you can fold it into, not pictured, because he won’t take it off! The jacket is extremely lightweight and well made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this rain jacket! The material feels high quality, lightweight, and breathable, but at the same time it actually keeps the rain out. I tested it in wet and windy weather and stayed completely dry and comfortable. The fit is great — not bulky or stiff like some rain jackets can be — and it layers nicely over a hoodie or sweater. I also love that it doesn’t feel heavy or plastic-y, and it moves easily when walking or hiking. The hood and zipper are well made, and overall it feels like a durable, well-designed jacket that you can wear both for everyday errands and outdoor activities. Definitely a great investment if you want something practical, comfortable, and reliable for rainy days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great it has extra lining to cover your forhead more. It folds down extremely small its no bigger or thicker than a diaper at most. While thin the material is thin enough for summer comfort, but allows for room to be layered over winter gear for emergency use and keeps you quite waterproof. It also works great in keeping freezing rain/sleet from drenching your winter coat, if you need to go outside and shovel snow. It creates an even better barrier from the wind getting to your face than any other jacket has provided.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lightest and most functional wind/rain jacket ever. Roll it up and pack away in a small space and when there is rain or a little wind bring it out for protection. The zippers are high quality. And not gonna break anytime soon. It does have some noise that you typically find with a wind/rain jacket. Very protective from the elements. Also fits true to size. I am 6’1 and 210lbs and wearing a Large. Highly recommend for that adventure.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice lightweight rain jacket! I was worried red color would be bright and obnoxious but it is a perfectly toned red. Easily can slip over an outfit or warmer wear for layering. Hood and zipper combine for full coverage. My only complaint is there are no pockets for your hands. There is one credit card type pocket on the front though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very lightweight jacket that could be layered over if needed. The material is very thin, which is why it is so lightweight. The zipper functioned well and covers your chin. It has a waterproof pocket on the front and adjustable strings on the bottom of the jacket and the back of the hood. It is waterproof, which is awesome, although if you don't have long sleeves under it, you can feel the coldness of the water. Overall, it functions as it is supposed to and would be great for people who love the outdoors. The only cons are that you feel the coldness of the water, and the price is pretty expensive for it being such a thin material.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this marmot rain jacket in exchange for my honest opinion. It’s super lightweight which is great for packing and travel. It’s thin enough to layer for warmer rainy days and can also be warm over top a sweater for cooler days. This fabric makes the wear of the jacket extremely versatile. Its bright orange/red hue is ideal for hikes especially during hunting season.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Men’s Marmot Superalloy Bio Rain Jacket is a light weight, comfortable jacket that keeps me dry when I am outside in the elements. The craftsmanship makes the feel of materials soft and durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person who spends a lot of time and money on outdoor activities I often find myself in remote situations and need gear I can trust. Marmot has proven time and time again that they are top tier. This rain jacket is just another great example. Things I love about it. It’s super lightweight and packs down really small. It can fit in my pack without taking up hardly any space. Don’t let its small size and thin material fool you, its preforms. I recently did a winter hike and was getting pelted with wet slushy snow and my cloths under the coat stayed dry. Although it provides no warmth, it’s roomy enough that I got my true size and was able to fit a small down coat under it. It had good mobility and didn’t impact my hike or create bunching under my backpack. Two features I really appreciated are the increased waterproofing around the zippers. Zippers tend to allow the moisture in, and these kept it out. Additionally I liked the drawstring on the hood, I could quickly and efficiently sinch my hood tighter. The hood also has a nice overhang which allowed me to wear a ball cap and keep it mostly protected as well. Even though Marmot can run on the pricier side, having gear that will last and hold up makes it most cost effient in the long run. I have tried cheaper gear and I end up replacing it too often or it doesn’t preform. I absolutely recommended this rain jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Marmot Superalloy Bio Rain Jacket for my husband, and we’re both thrilled with the choice! The jacket is lightweight yet incredibly effective at keeping him dry. The medium size is a bit snug around the waist, but given that he's lost some weight, I’m confident it will fit perfectly once he sheds a few more pounds. Overall, it seems true to size and has a nice design which he loves. The color is also perfect for hunting. It’s lightweight and breathable. The zipper zips smoothly without getting caught. The pockets are nice and the hood is perfect for rainy days. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and functional rain jacket!
