Great design internally, but not the back

I really wanted to love this bag. I'm looking for a perfect everyday commuter bag into work and travel bag. It has so many compartments which I love. All my items fit and organization designed well. However, wearing the backpack itself is super uncomfortable. The design of the straps and upper portion of the back area, digs into my lower neck, and the strap design is oddly shaped, so that most of the weight of the backpack lies on my upper trapezoids and digs into my shoulders. There is also major gaps between my upper body and the straps (we tried it on three different body sizes, so the same thing happened with all of us. Also, there is no chest strap to help absorb the bag weight. Sadly, it will be returned. Looking at REI and Chrome Industries backpacks now.

Bought for my wife as a gift for when she travels. She has one already (black) and really likes it, but wanted a differnt color, so I bought her the blue color. She now has two.
