Wanted It Badly, But Had to Return It

I waited all winter 2024 for the Therme parka to come back in stock. I wanted this coat so badly. The 2025 edition feels bulky and lacks refinement with its large Arcteryx logo on the front. I miss the older Therme models. The women’s version seems better designed. I’m 5’11 and weigh 180 lbs, and I bought a size small. I decided to return it.

Hi Etienne. Thank you for your feedback on the Therme Down Parka—we understand how much anticipation went into waiting for its return, and we’re sorry the latest version didn’t meet your expectations in terms of fit, logo placement, and overall design. We’ll ensure your experience and comparison to past models are shared with our product team as they continue to evolve the style.

Nice jacket, but cut too big.

The jacket itself is great. Good balance of warmth, looking professional (will use it for commuting to Manhattan), lightweight, waterproof and comfortable. It gets dinged a star because sizing is completely off. It’s cut way too big. I normally wear a large but had to go down to medium.

Brilliant parka

Amazing purchase, very happy with the jacket... I don't understand any negative reviews. Just going to have to get use to the zipper as it's the opposite way to what I'm use to. Other than that, feels fantastic, great colour and is incredibly warm. Perfect fit too.

Disappointing new design

I've been waiting since last season for this jacket to be re released in my size and it's disappointing the design has change with more in your face branding. The more discrete logos of the last version were a lot nicer and would be good to get a dark navy version again.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand how frustrating it can be when a long-awaited re-release doesn’t align with what you were hoping for. We’ll make sure your feedback on the updated branding is shared with our design team for future consideration. As for colors, our seasonal palette does evolve from year to year, so it’s always worth keeping an eye out for returning favorites.

Needs More Subtle Logo Placement

The oversized, high-contrast logos on the hood and chest are distracting. They should be smaller and tonal to match the color of the jacket, keeping the focus on function rather than branding.

Nice Parka

An excellent parka for cold weather, and biting rain. I’m usually a large so had to return and opt for a medium. Which was a tad annoying. Hopefully this helps other buyers.
