Dream winter weather pants.

If I could have designed the perfect pants for being outdoors in the winter, but not for skiing, these would be them. I wanted lined, warm pants, but not bulky ski pants. (Though with long underwear may be great for skiing.) They feel nice and soft and fit perfect. Having the inseam option was great. I do a lot of strength training so big thighs and butt for my size and the pants fit perfect. 5'4 138 lbs size 10, 30 inseam.

warm and comfortable

I needed pants for cold weather hiking etc- these are great. They fit a little looser in the legs than I prefer, but don't feel tight when I add a base layer under. Very conformable, and warm, and while I haven't worn them in soaking rain, seem pretty water-repellant in snow. I've done lots of walking in sub freezing weather, and stay warm. I'm 5'8, 140, and a size 10 fits perfectly- size 8 (which I usually wear) was a little too tight in the hips. They seem like they will be very durable.

Durable & Comfortable

These pants are suited to a variety of settings - I have used them hiking, backpacking, and trekking in snowy conditions. I appreciate the durability, moisture-resistant and repelling outer, soft lining, and thickness that maintains warmth in colder temperatures. Even better is the flexibility which is essential for most of the outdoor activities I engage in. Thoughtful features such as the boot clips on the leg cuffs, zippered pockets, and drawstring are useful and convenient. I have also worn these traveling by plane and car and the color and style make them suitable for less casual restaurants and settings as well.

I have 3 pairs of these pants. They are the best fall/winter every day pants. Rain and snow beads off the material. 5 pockets that fit my iphone the size below the pro easily. I can't say enough about these pants. They are expensive so buy them on a sale day! 5'5" 125lbs -8 short fits comfortably.

Great pants!

I had these in my cart for weeks and I finally made the purchase. I normally wear a 6 in Kuhl pants but due to the reviews I got both 6 and the 8 in a 32 inseem, and the 8 fit best for the room allowing flexibility with ease, and to layer if necessary. I have worn them all week to walk the dogs in 20-30 degree weather and they keep me warm. They have a nice fit and feel to them. I especially like the bottom boot zipper. Can't wait to hike in them!

Long inseam too short

The 34 inch inseam was surprisingly short. Kuhl, please consider 36 inch inseams instead. Also, the fabric/color on this pant is odd. I got the Gotham, which was almost pure black. I would have preferred a charcoal. Finally, the fit is a bit weird. The crotch seemed tight on this pant and the thighs baggy. It isn't a particularly soft pant at all. Nothing cuddly about it. Compared to Kuhl's Frost pant, the Klash is a disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it.

One pant for day and night

These were my everyday pants, day and night, for a two week stay in the New Zealand South Island. I wore them day after day, indoors, and out in the great beautiful wonderful world. Rain resistant was perfect most of the time and they were comfortable underneath rain gear for a boat tour. Once it got hot I did switch to a lighter pair of pants. But the South Island is cool in the summer so these were the pants I wore most.

Klash updated

I have most of my hiking pants from Kuhl and really like Klash. However the new update I returned as they bow out in the hips and is too large for the rest of the pant. I ordered a size 2. The earlier model was perfect

Favorite cool weather hiking pants

Best winter hiking pants I have. Warm, stretchy comfort, plenty of pockets, fit perfectly. On my last hike the bottom of the pants on the outside were wet from snow, the inside nice and dry.

Great

Took these on a snowshoeing trip. They were perfect! I kept the smaller size (no base layer needed) and the pants shaped with me well. Great fabric, nice features but not too complicated.
