Dark spots

Nice and warm but has dark spots all over. I think the fabric is too thin and the dark spots are part of the fill. I returned it.

Zero Buyers Remorse

To my fellow petite, curvy girls - if you are considering this jacket, you won’t regret this purchase! For me, it’s the type of cozy you’d even lounge around the house in. I am 5’1” and got the large and it is THE perfect length for my arms & the cuffs are so supple on the wrists. It sits perfectly AND comfortably on the top of my hips (which most people would call cropped) BUT you can also cinch it down for an even better fit to keep the cold drafts out. I have broad shoulders but somehow the boxy, regular fit STILL makes me feel like it was tailor made. The zippered front hand pockets are generous in space so it won’t be a fight to retrieve bulky items like your “cell-puter,” dog leash& potty bag combo or big key ring on the fly. The only thing I can see some people weighing in on is that since it is not made with ripstop material but recycled fishing nets instead, you’ll have to be a little more cautious. Best part? The Old Growth Green is lovely, I got it on sale AND got to use my REI annual rewards!

A good-quality jacket for everyday city use

It’s very light, comfortable, and keeps me warm in 40–50°F temperatures. On the downside, it can’t be folded to fit into a backpack. Therefore, this jacket is better suited for city use than for hiking.

So Cozy

This jacket is so comfortable and cozy! It’s really warm and the old growth forest color is beautiful. I’m between sizes, went with smaller size and it fits well.
