I really like this coat. Pros: warm; vibrant colors and leafy pattern; boxy shape; elasticized drawstring at the bottom; roomy front zip pockets; comfortable cuffs inside the sleeves; front closure with a zipper and snaps; good collar height. Cons: Small is way too big (I’m 5’2” and 115 lbs); collar doesn’t lay flat against the coat when unzipped; a bit too puffy.

I am obsessed with this down jacket. The pattern and colors are amazing. It is light and feels soft but is super warm. It has 2 lined zipper pockets and a lined chest zipper pocket that are large. Excited for the lining to help keep hands warm but not sweaty! It is a bit shorter than other down jackets I have but I like it. Has a sturdy zipper and love the snaps all the way up/down with a reinforced zipper edge. I am 5'4 and around 240. The XL fits though I would probably size up if I were to buy this jacket again, and I would! This is a great jacket for the price. It is a great in between jacket for me. I have heavy snow jackets and really light down jackets. This is going to be my go to favorite for cold days this fall and winter!

I really like this jacket! It’s warm, comfortable, and has several thoughtful features that I really appreciate in a winter coat. I’m 5'8" and about 150 lbs. and got a size medium, which is a little big on me. Depending on your body type and how you like your coats to fit, you may want to size down, as I do think this jacket runs a bit large. I’m a big fan of pockets that zip shut, and I especially appreciate the interior zippered pocket. Whether I’m walking around the city, hiking, or skiing, it gives me a secure place to keep my wallet and other valuables. I also love the internal cuff gaskets. They’re super soft and comfortable while doing a great job of keeping cold air from getting up the sleeves. Overall, I think this is a really great jacket for the price. The 650-fill-power down provides good warmth without making the jacket feel overly bulky, and the combination of comfort, useful features, and quality makes it a great value. I think the price point is especially good for what you’re getting. I would definitely recommend it!

I wanted something really warm that was also a little more fun than my usual outdoor gear. I love the pattern and colors, they’re even better in person and make the jacket stand out, and yes it is a bit over the top. This is definitely a puffy puffer. It has a lot of loft and feels cozy and warm, which has been great. It’s also shorter in length than a lot of my jackets, which I actually like with leggings and higher waisted pants. My only complaint is the fit through the shoulders. The shoulders are quite wide on me, and if I could change one thing about the jacket, I’d make that area a little narrower. Otherwise, I really like the fit and how comfortable it is.

Impressively warm and cozy, this jacket has been my go-to choice on fall camping trips. It even performed well in light rain, with water beading on the surface while the down remained dry and insulating. The colors are a departure from what I would normally choose for myself, but I started receiving compliments from strangers on my first outing while wearing it! In terms of fit, I found it a bit boxy but it is great for layering. The torso length is shorter than expected, however.

Another REI jacket, another win! The warmth, the length and the pockets on this jacket definitely are perfect for a 35° morning in northern Michigan. The print is fun and goes well with the fall colors too. 

first off, i get compliments on this jacket every time i wear it out, from friends and complete strangers alike. its a visually interesting and fun print, without being too noisy. the colors are a lot more of an autumn rust/mustard/emerald palette in person than they looked on my screen (which i prefer!). i typically wear a size medium across all brands and types of clothing, but I sized down to a small for this jacket intentionally for a more fitted/cropped look. To my pleasant surprise, it fits perfectly; i actually think i might have been a bit big if i had gotten my normal size. i definitely can’t wear a bulky sweater under it, but this thing is WARM, so i truly don’t see a scenario where i would need more than a thermal or base layer anyway. the sleeves are still long enough they don’t ride up when my arms are fully extended, either. it has zippered hand pockets and an inner zip chest pocket, which i love. one con for me is that this puffy jacket is like…REALLY puffy. so much that i when i have worn it to do chores around our property in the mornings, it almost feels like it hinders my movement and gets in the way a bit. my niece told me i should wear it when i do crimes cause it’s so puffy they wouldn’t be able to handcuff me so i can’t get arrested. (she’s six, by the way 🤣) its not necessarily a bad thing; i guess i am just more used to an ultra thin/lightweight backpacking style puffer. i can definitely see myself wearing this for social outings more than for hiking or in the backcountry while camping.
