Undersized for 45L and is too narrow. The pack tries to do a lot but not particularly good in any area. Fits a similar amount of stuff as the osprey stratos 36L. The black diamond beta light 45 fits much more even without the brain. Comfort is average. Not as comfortable or load supporting as a sightlier heavier pack like the osprey stratos. Only slightly more comfortable than UL packs like durston and BD beta light 45. * too narrow of a pack * straps for the brain need to be extendable, otherwise the rolltop is not usable to max storage when brain is attached. If brain isn't intended to be used then why include it with a rolltop? * shoulder pocket is too small, should be able to fit phone * waist pouch is too small, should be able to fit phone * should include straps at the bottom of the pack to tie a large item like a tent - there's no other place to put it unless the brain is removed * the chest strap is too cumbersome and doesn't cinch chest load well.
