MSR reactor

I own 5 different camping stoves from various brands. The MSR reactor has become an easy choice when heading to the back country. I have taken it on numerous back country trips ranging from day trips to up to 16 day outings. It burns less fuel than my other stoves, boils water significantly faster, and performs well in challenging conditions (wind, rain, snow, high elevation). I recommend this stove to all my friends and would/ will buy another if/ when I need a replacement. This stove has seen heavy use and has never let me down.

Very good stove, almost 5 stars

This is the 3rd reactor stove I have owned. I got rid of the others because I was cutting my pack weight. I have missed the reactor and finally bought another. This one is great, but I have noticed the flame is not as even as it was on the other two and it seems to take a little longer to get fully going. Also, the handle that flips over the top doesn't stay latched with the little metal ball. That is a nit-picky thing, but still kind of annoying that it comes apart in my pack. the older ones didn't do that.
