[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are SO comfortable. I have terrible feet and wear custom insoles. It's hard for me to find a great shoe. THESE ARE AMAZING. However, the white is ridiculous. Despite being extremely careful and cleaning these shoes 2+ times per week, they are permanently discolored. The mesh and fabric parts have a dingy brown/yellow that will not go away no matter what I do. I never even got them dirty like that, so I don't know why they turned that color. I would buy multiple pairs of these if they were black, gray, blue, dark green, maroon, mustard, tan, brown.. Anything that isn't super bright and won't show discoloration like the white! Now they look awful, but they are my best shoes for my feet so I wear them anyway. Also, the discoloration happened very quickly--only a few weeks into having them. So disappointed. As to the fit: I sized down half a size. In Columbia shoes, due to my insoles, I usually wear an 8.5. I got these in an 8 and they are the perfect size. They fit like a typical Columbia 8.5.
Skip Waterproof and go with Quick Dry!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a sneaker that was breathable and would dry quickly for my trip to Costa Rica. These were perfect! Waterproof shoes aren't great for climates like Costa Rica's because they make your feet hot. Instead, finding a shoe like the PFG Castback TC that could get dirty, be washed in the sink/shower, and then dry quickly, fit the bill. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 wide, the 7.5 fit me perfectly and the shoe didn't feel tight. The only thing I'd like to see change is Columbia remove the "blood n' guts" label on the shoe physically. I understand that's a rating they give the shoe for the fact that those things can be cleaned off easily when fishing, but it's a bit weird to have actually ON the shoe itself. I'd love to see some darker color options for this shoe for women's fit!
Rock Star Shoes! Need in all black too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited a year to give these shoes a fair shot. These did not disappoint! I just got back from two weeks in Italy and wore these shoes almost every day. I averaged 15,000+ steps a day and they held up like rock stars! The cushioning while walking on the cobblestone streets was great, the traction during thunderstorms on the stone steps was amazing, and the breathability during 90 degree days was welcomed. Do not sleep on these shoes! Columbia please make these in all black to go with my other outfits as well!
Great shoe
Was searching for sneakers with both support and comfort with a focus on safety. Many brands use a sole that makes walking on a wet surface feel like walking on ice. I’ve had these about a week now and they meet all the criteria. Great grip so I no longer worry about slipping and comfortable enough to walk several miles without discomfort.

Super Comfortable

I do wish they came is better color options- a solid black with white midsole would be awesome- because I could see myself buying more pairs of these.

It doesn’t carry half sizes so had to size up…slightly larger than I wear but will give them a chance. Still wish you brought back my regular style :(
