Just used this for motorcycle camping with helinox cafe chair & table 4 with 3 portable screens and a 450wh solar battery & panel. was able to work the day while hanging out next to a river at the base of a mountain. Super easy setup, no word on longevity, but others say theirs last years, quality looks to be there. I put my office in the garage area, was able to work, make food & coffee while being rained on part of the day. No complaints.
Bought this for a motorcycle camping trip from Virginia to Alaska this summer. I was very pleased overall with the design and features. It had plenty of room for my gear, and while I never had to park the bike in the garage area, having that option was nice. With the addition of the footprint and some practice, I was able to get the setup time down to 7 minutes, just a bit longer than my normal backpacking tent. It performed well in rain (never had any issues with water in the sleeping area), and held up well in wind gusts up to 30mph with the guy lines deployed properly. I also appreciated the separate packing for tent/poles and the inclusion of groundhog-style aluminum stakes. At the end of my 4 week trip, after camping at least half the nights, this tent is still in great shape and will for sure get regular use going forward! Downsides: It's obviously bigger/bulkier than a normal 2 person tent, so there's that. I found that it didn't dry very quickly in the morning (owing to all the area of the fly), so I was often packing it up still damp from dew and I'd have to air it out later on to get it completely dry. The size of the whole unit when set up was too big for some camping areas in provincial parks, so I had to get creative with placement to have a flat surface. Finally, the sleeping area within the tent is really a 1.5 person arrangement. You would be very cramped with two adults in there. This is par for the course with most 2 person backpacking tents, but I was still disappointed with that. One final note - the ground cloth is a must and really should come with it. I wish the webbing for setting up the tent without the ground cloth was detachable - I ended up tucking it under the sleeping area but it felt untidy.
