FP Movement  In The Wild Pants - Women's

I bought these pants before I went on a boundary waters camping trip and I wore them every day for four days and they were absolutely fantastic!! Lightweight, quick drawing, nice big pockets easy to get to and then two that are Velcro shut for more security. The only thing that would make these pants better is if they had a drawstring at the ankles to close to hold them in place.

Comfortable, easy pants. I got it in black and the color is good. Roomy pockets. The only complaint is when I'm walking, it makes a swooshing sound. Thinking of returning them, but I'll give it some time.

I wear these hiking in CO. They are my go too when it’s too cool for shorts, but too hot for leggings. Only 4 stars because the pockets aren’t very useful for actual hiking. I wear a hydration vest so I don’t really need the pockets unless I want some Kleenex or chapstick handy. I got the blue in medium and they look like scrubs which is fine for the trail, but I won’t wear them for casual. However another color might be workable.

Great versatile pants! Wore them in a jungle trek 30+ miles. Dressed them up and for overall travel. They are incredibly comfortable and lightweight. Dried extremely fast. I bought a large and usually am a 10 in jeans.

I got these a month ago, they don’t last clean cause as soon they come out of the dryer I go back to wearing them. Super comfy, baggy and light. I use them for any occasion I think I’m gonna get a different color.

Pants run large at the waist and are harder than expected to rock-scramble in because there isn’t any spandex in the material. Found myself hiking them up for more flexibility at the knees before taking big steps. They dry reasonably quickly once wet, although my legs felt a little swampy during a recent hike. On the other hand they are cute. For reference my waist is 30” and my hips are 41”. I sized up to L and should gone with M, which was recommended for my waist.

I love the freedom of these pants! The fabric is moisture wicking, which makes them great for stream hoping or beach hiking. They are comfortable and roomy-perfect travel or hiking pants.

I purchased three pairs of these pants in black, putty grey, and the multi-colored ombre in a size L. They’re overpriced but FP so you know that. The fit is generous but I kept that size because they’re parachute pants and aren’t meant to fit snug. For reference, I’m 5’9”, 185lbs, with trim legs and a tummy and normally wear a size 12T (stretchy fabrics) or 14T (no-stretch). I immediately returned the multi-colored because while I like fun, they are downright clownish in person and even the salesperson thought so when she saw them. The black and the putty grey are great, and I wore them almost nonstop during our warmer summer days. They’re lightweight and easy to wear with sandals or sneakers. I will say these are 100% athleisure wear with zero technical specs. As a former costume designer of 20 years, I appreciate the double-stitched, contrasting colored seams and fun waist tie. However, my biggest beef with these (and it’s big) is pocket placement and closure, which is ridiculous. Let’s begin… The upper pockets where you’re likely to tuck your hands, keys, or phone is placed too high, is horizontal (versus angled), and closes with a 1-5/8” snip of Velcro. Hands? No, too high creating a shoulder shrug and nearly impossible to get into with a single hand due to the sticky Velcro. Keys? Okay, if you don’t have too many. Phone? No, too small either direction and once you do squeeze it in (I was motivated), it really weighs down the thin fabric. Lip balm? Yes! This brings me to the lower, outer thigh/knee pockets. These are too low to be useful at all and have no closure, so are purely decorative. The pockets overall are irritating - I’ve considered redesigning them (ha!) - but the pants are so cute on that I can’t resist them and will continue to wear for as long as they last which might be 3+ summers if I continue hanging them to dry right out of the washer.

I am 5'2" and 130. The small size was perfect. I wore these everyday for a six day raft trip. They were perfect! They provided great sun protection (except at the ankles). They are super light weight, fast drying and comfy and the wide legs kept me ventilated and cool. The material held up beautifully to rock bouldering. The nordic trail color is great. They looked clean every day and brand new even after a week of swimming in the silty, color staining water of the Green River in Utah. I think they will be great for hiking and if they are, I will be definitely buy another pair!
