Popular with my family!
A niece threw a football that hit a power line at my mother's home and knocked out the power. The chaotic search for working flashlights /batteries was underway -- and I retrieved this charged light and hung it to the ceiling fan chain. It lit up the den!! You made lots of Luci light fans -- especially when they learned of your giving campaign. I keep my lights charged especially when there's a hurricane brewing. While I'm using the other lights are charging for use when I'm recharging the ones I've used. This is my favorite gift to give and is wildly popular at the annual White Elephant gift swap party!!! Thank you.
I have used Luci Lites for many years...
I have used Luci Lites for many years camping kayaking walking my dog at night. An excellent durable and reliable product. I recently purchase 20 extra lites to distribute to households without electricity in the DilkonArizona area on Navajo Nation. These folks rely on buying lamp oil or buying disposable flashlight batteries. During this pandemic people can't get to town or are out of work and can't afford to buy lamp oil. Providing 20 households with a solar powered lantern not only helps during a time of need but shines a light on clean energy solar powered alternatives. We made people smile and all were grateful for this gift. Trying to raise more money to buy more.
Love them!
Great for camping, great for blackouts. (I live in TX, and we have, um, power grid issues.) Bright enough to read by in a tent, bright enough to cook with outside the tent. Leave one in the sun during the day, and it will never run out of juice. Unless you stay up all night. Just don't leave one outside at night. A stinking raccoon chewed one of mine up. It still lights up, but won't inflate.
Light lasts a long time but can't get it to charge
I bought this along with the EMRG. The light on this one shined for over 24 hrs continuously right out of the box! Amazing! The bad news is that I can't get it to charge back up. I placed this model and the EMRG in the same window at the same time. EMRG charged in a few hours but this model sat in the window for 3 full days and never recharged. Drove around with it on my dashboard for a whole (sunny) day also no charge. Not even one dot on the power meter. Not sure if it's my device or just the wrong conditions for recharging. Assuming you can get your device to recharge I would recommend this device.
Impressive
I first purchased one of your 'original' LUCI lightsand then 2 more. They are waterproof(1m) and will float on the water.Fulldirect sunlight is the best and most efficient way to recharge them.I then purchased 1 of the EMERGfor my truck4 of the 2.0 that have the port to be charged(power source) and the same port can be used to power up electronicsvia USB.FinallyI purchased the 'Basecamp' light and am placing an order for another one.Fantastic productsfast shipping and OUTSTANDING Customer Service and Support!! If you backpackcampparty or just prepping...you will ENJOY these as part of your 'equipment'.
Quality solar products FINALLY!!!
I firmly believe in solar in fact live off the grid with 4kw of solar panels as my main source of electrical power. I also like to use area lighting pathways chicken coop picnic table etc.. however until now its a joke buying those < $5 lights you know the ones that within a few weeks even days they fail. The pieces break water gets in batteries die you have to thump them to get them to turn on....well its true much of the time that we get what we pay for! In the long run I am sure I have paid much more than an few MPOWERED lights would cost and would have to continue to do so!!! Finally a quality solar light!!! How will we ever trust and shift to solar?...With MPOWERED products!!! Thank you so much! Get them quick pay for quality and only pay for the lights you want not continuous replacements!!! Act quick on the sales! I just missed out on string lights because they SOLD OUT!!!
Yes I would buy this product again and again
I a happy that you have improved the product. My first Luci which I bought a number of years ago had a solar panel that was affixed to the top of the panel inside the bubble. As time went by the solar panel got loose from the panel and no longer was able to project through the holes properly...that was annoying even though the solar panel was still good. The new Luci now has the solar cells imbedded on the panel which should be a huge improvement. I use it everywhere on hikes as an emergency light when I drive during outages...it's very reliable and I have taken it to foreign countries and used it as a nightlight no worries about batteries outlets just put it under the sun....universal use!!
Wow!
I took my light camping along the beach. I forgot to charge the light until the last few hours of our day. I propped it up on my car dashboard toward the sun and it charged for about an hour of really not full sun. Wow! After dark I was able to use the light to get some reading done in my old school basic kindle. On the low setting it was so bright I read and I got some cooking done without need of any other light source. (The other brighter settings were also usable.) I didn't use it long that night but the Luci still had enough of a charge that I used it the next day before the sun came up to get dressed and light the way to fix breakfast. Love that it has an on-off switch. Definitely impressed.
Great lantern!
Another great solar lantern! The light is bright with a couple of settings for brightness or strobe. I find it is more effective when it is blown up but you can use it without blowing up the lantern. The charger is ok but I wouldn't rely on it as your only source of charging for your phone as it takes a long time to charge and you really need to be in direct sunlight the whole charging time. I think it's great as an emergency back up or if you are out long distance backpacking where there will be lots of sunlight and want to combine weights of a charger and lantern.
I will buy more of these Lights!
Love the Lights! Outside at Day and Night. Charging from the Sun and shining Bright at Night! Buy them Will not be Disappointed.
