Light good power button need work
Happy with brightness of lights and time sustained when at full power. Build quality is nice but wished it came with a cloth bag to store it in I use a Crown Royal bag. I use my Jackery to charge so not sure about solar charging efficiency. One issue is the battery indicator during the daytime it's impossible to read. The plastic is separated from top and the green indicator lights are not strong enough to read during sunlight. Also the power button should be more prominent. Its very difficult to find the power button in a dark tent. If you wake up and need to use the WC it's very frustrating trying to locate the power button in the dark.

We have: Base Camp =2 solar string lights-4 original light- 5 Pro series -5 and tons more! We have 2 camps we run on solar power. We love these lights & they last forever!! I just wish the on/off button had like bumps or something on it as it is hard to see in the dark. Something like a brail button?? We put the string lights around our outter house & they look so nice. Still bright as can be in the morning!! I would recommend these to anyone. To have for black outs power outages backpacking camping and well we use them at night in our home for night lights! Outstanding MPowerd! I would give 10 stars If i could! I have attached a photo of the string lights.
I really like the light produced by the Luci Base light
I really like the light produced by the Luci Base light. It lights the room it is in very well. I enjoy the versatility it provides. The battery capacity solar charge feature external power source lumens produced water proof are all great to have on hand especially during the planned power shut offs (PG&E) winter storm power outages or just enjoying the great outdoors. I also greatly appreciate the Luci Candles - no hazardous flame to worry about. These make great gifts that are appreciated I have given several. Good quality. I recommend this product for purchase but please consider manufacturing in the USA not overseas. Jobs!
These are exactly what I was looking for!
These are exactly what I was looking for! After hours of comparing products these were the best deal featuring water resistance can compact easily in size emits enough light charges quickly in the sun but also has another power source option if need be not to mention the product itself acts as a power source! I have seen the ones that are also speakers my only desire would have been to have that feature in addition on this item and not have to purchase them separately. But all in all with everything this product as to offer I am very impressed and in LOVE with my purchase so far! Thanks Luci from myself and our planet!!!
I use this ever evening
Of course the reason I got this was to take camping but i've found I enjoy having it on in the bedroom in the evenings. I set it on the lowest setting and can leave the house lights off. The glow is much warmer than my electric lights and the medium is perfect for me to read by ( and I have 72 year old eyes)! I use the solar of course and once a month or so I plug it in with the USB to be sure it is fully charged. I says inflated. The only possible problem might be to have the plastic strips for hanging the light fail but so far they are fine. I'll be getting more for Christmas presents.
INNOVATIVE PRODUCT
Was very impressed with this modern light after reading recommendation on thewirecutter.com. In our area we have weather events (Harvey!) along with associated power loss. One of the challenges is being able to provide a sufficient light source for safely living/surviving after dark that doesn't require using batteries or fuel. I'm not looking forward to using these lanterns for that type of event but when if needed will be helpful. In the meantime with the short winter days we keep a lantern handy for use on the deck when grilling and eating. Would recommend this product to others.

At first I was skeptical but I love this light. It lights up my whole tent. I tested it in the backyard and it was bright enough to read and write under. #sweepstakes.

Thank you Luci! I prefer off grid boondocking in my little Casita. One Luci clipped to the ceiling lights the whole camper with soft brightness. When sailing one Luci lights the whole cockpit or salon for dinner easy peasy nothing blinding you in the eye. I always have as many as I can afford in the gear bag for Costa Rica. At the end of the trip Luci is the Best Parting Gift you can give someone en el Campo. In the depths of the rainy season we had 15'4 of rain in 33 days somehow Luci was able to recharge on a wisp of sunlight (not enough to dry your clothes mind you) I was able to make dinner for everyone every night no problem. I have especially appreciated the brighter Snake Setting many times. Base Light Luci well that's just a deal changer.
Great for camping
I have a Luci Outdoor 2.0 but I prefer the Luci Base due to its bright 360 lumens and warm light (looks yellow versus white to me). It is heavier than the Outdoor 2.0 but it also has a very convenient USB port to charge a device (worked well with my iPhone 12 pro). Recharging the Luci Base itself is convenient - whether you use the sun or prefer the USB option. Concerns: - After only a few days of use both the power and battery level buttons became harder to press as if they further flattened into the unit. - It would be helpful if the power button were more obvious in look and feel for moments where light is limited or it's completely dark (e.g. you're in your camping tent and need to switch it on in the middle of the night without fumbling too much)
Reliable
I have been testing this product by keeping it in front of a window and keeping my cell phone hooked up to it. Even through the fading light of fall going into winter I can keep my cell phone 100% charged for the better part of the day. I recently took the Luci Base and the Luci Pro into the backcountry of Colorado and used it to charge my battery pack for six days. The weather was cold so it was only able to charge the battery pack about 25% each day but it was definitely enough to keep my cell phone at 100% charge the entire trip.
