- Double-threaded screw enables you to use the tool for Shimano standard bottom brackets as well as Shimano Octalink and Truvativ-style bottom brackets
- Retaining screw is spring-loaded to self-adjust so you don't have to incrementally back it out to give you space to turn the BB cartridge as you would with a crank bolt
