Sawyer Products gave me this free product to try. I've been using a Sawyer Squeeze and Cnoc Vecto as my main water filtration system for years. Recently I had an opportunity to test out the new Sawyer Squeeze and 1L Cnoc bottle. The Squeeze worked great, it has a good flow rate and is easy to back flush (you can even use a Smart water bottle nozzle). The 1L bottle fits easily into pack side pockets where I'd normally have a 1L Smart water bottle. It collapses down when not needed and the firm bottom and top allow it to stand vertically when it's full. Weight on my scale was 162g for both combined. Filling the 1L bottle from a shallow water source is challenging compared to the Vecto with the wide opening and flat design. No issues filling from streams or flowing water sources. Overall I'm very happy with it, the 1L bottle makes a great pack-able, re-usable travel bottle as well. I'll continue to use my Sawyer Squeeze and and likely use my Vecto to filter into the 1L bottle if I know there will be a shallow water sources.
The Sawyer Squeeze Filter and 1-L Bottle felt like a terrific improvement on an already great system. I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail with a Sawyer Squeeze several years back, and loved its portability and durability, and well as the trust in the product properly filtering water for safe consumption. This version, with a collapsable Cnoc bottle, is lightweight but durable, weighing in at just under 5 ounces. Whether you’re drinking straight from this system, or filtering into separate storage, you’ll be impressed by the speed of filtration. I was able to filter 1 liter of water with the Squeeze in under 30 seconds. Due to its collapsible nature, this product gets a bit floppy when partially empty, but when full it does stand on its own. The system comes with a cleaning coupler and plunger so that you can maintain lightning-fast filtration. I used my system both at home, and straight from mountain streams in the La Plata Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Sawyer Products gave me this free product to try.
A spectacular upgrade on a cult classic filter. The Cnoc bottle offers much improved usability In both filling, carrying, and filtering water. Compared to Sawyers traditional reservoirs, the Cnoc bottle is easily stowed away when not in use but sturdy enough to provide for easy filtering. The bottle really complements the already fast flow rate of sawyers filters and is a breeze to clean. I did notice that it’s a little difficult to filter that last few oz of water, but other than that no complaints. Thanks Sawyer and Expert Voice for the filter!
I’ve used a variety of water filters over the years and typically spend 30–40 days each year in the backcountry, so I’ve come to know what makes a solid filter. The Sawyer Water Filter has quickly become my favorite among the five different models I’ve tested. What really stood out to me is the thoughtful design of the water bladder—it’s shaped like a bottle, which makes it incredibly stable when placed on the ground. This small design choice makes a big difference when you’re refilling or filtering solo. As with most Sawyer products, the filtration speed is excellent. In this case, it pairs really well with the squeeze bag, making it super efficient for quickly topping off my bike bottles. It’s compact, fast, and easy to use—which is exactly what I need on the trail. Overall, this is hands down one of the best water filters I’ve used. I’m looking forward to putting it through more serious mileage this summer, but so far, it’s ranked #1 in my lineup.
I'm more than impressed with the Sawyer Squeeze Filter and 1 Liter Bottle. Sawyer Products gave me this free product to try. I have tested numerous water filtration systems, and this takes them all. Lightweight, functional, customizable, and simple. Sawyer knocked this product out of the park. Kudos to the Sawyer team. I 100% recommend this product to all professional athletes who are looking for a lightweight, industry-leading water filtration system.
I was given the opportunity to review one of these early and I loved it. I've used Sawyer filters and CNOC bottles together in the past on thru hikes, and I'm stoked to see them together in one system. Mine has held up amazingly and never fails. Lightweight, packable, and bomb proof as far as I'm concerned.
This new setup for the sawyer squeeze filter was so easy to use on the trail! I tested it out 12 different times in streams, lakes, ponds, and even small trickles of water. I found that the flexible bottle worked great for a variety of water sources and packed so well in the hip belt of my backpack. This was especially convenient for small hikes, I would put the filter and bottle in my pocket and didn’t haven’t to carry my whole backpack! The flow rate of the sawyer filters never disappoint so every water stop was quick. I also think this is one of the easiest filters to backflush and the instructions included in packaging make it even more accessible. Sawyer products gave me this free product to try but I will now be a customer for life from now on. I have backpacked the PCT and completed the 46 high peaks of NYS. This filter setup is now a key part of my backpacking/hiking kit.
Got this filter for free from Sawyer. I like it for light use around camp or refilling water bottles at work out in the woods but it is probably too clunky for trail running since you can’t store it easily with the filter attached like internally attached filters like the BeFree. Flow rate was great and the clam shell bottle made it feel a bit more rugged than other squeeze filters.
Best sawyer squeeze yet! The new Cnoc bottle is a big improvement. I like how it is soft and collapsible. This is a great option for the ultra light backpackers. It doesn't take much to squeeze. Filters fast. I can see this lasting longer than the squeeze bags front past generations.
I had heard much about the Sawyer Squeeze on youtube posts from hikers i respect. I bought it for a backpacking section hike on the AT. I was surprised at how fast it filtered. Knowing it did not filter viruses, i supplemented with iodine tablets since I was in an area with recent reports of norovirus. No problems. Back home, backflushing was easy.
