Too snug

Way too snug for me. I’m 5’9” and 160 lbs, yet I could barely zip this thing up. I checked the dimensions beforehand and the numbers listed should have been more than enough for my frame. I’m not a big guy, so I was surprised by the tightness. Also, the hood is too snug on my head. Really wanted to like this bag; I tried getting into it four separate times and could never get comfortable. My final gripe was that it was a workout getting this back into the stuff sack. On the positive side, the bag is very warm. The zipper glides very easily - although it came off the track the last time I got out of the bag. If you have a thin frame, this might be a great bag for you. It just didn’t work for me.

Warm but extremely bulky.

It seems quite warm but a few minuses: - It does not come with a mesh bag. I have been taught that it’s best to store sleeping bags uncompressed, but this only comes with a stuff sack. - It takes up tons of space and doesn’t compress well. I cannot get it back in the stuff sack it came in. It took 2 of us to get it out in the first place. - Based on prior reviews, we ordered a L for 5’6” narrow frame petite people. It has tons of extra length, but the width is about right. So I agree with prior reviews - this bag is made for narrow people. Overall, we’re going to keep it because of how warm it feels. But we need to find a new storage bag, which is annoying. We’ll test it out on our next winter campout.

First thoughts.

Quality materials except buttons. Once opening it felt great. The loft didn't take long to complete. Once the bag was fully lofted I unsnapped the first two (2) buttons that encloses the head. And the second button popped off its lid and and inner stayed intact to the female portion of the button, grey floor = lost the button head so theres now a hole there. Still functional but immediate disappointment set in. I will be further testing it next weekend when projected temperatures are in the teens, and will further review.

Perfect for me

The quality is great, and on discount its a steal. I'm 5'10 & 140lbs. and fit perfectly inside the large. Ample room for me, however I do heir on the thin side. Its a tad heavy, and at 26.8 liters it is somewhat sizable when packed away. Packing does require a little patience, but i was able to get it the first time without frustration.

Amazing Bag, Simply Too Narrow

The construction and insulative qualities of this bag are amazing. The ripstop fabric is durable and moisture resilient. I slept very comfortably during a heavy rain storm in the low 30's, and at one point, my legs were too hot. Unfortunately, I simply could not make this bag work for my 6ft 235 lbs. frame because it is so narrow. I have broad shoulders and it was impossible to comfortably close the zipper all the way over broad shoulders. Also, the zipper is comedically short, only extending to about thigh length. I ended up purchasing a Mammut -18C Protect XL.

6ft 2 inches 240 lb Male....Too small

I will agree with a previous reviewer. I am a male 6 2 approximately 240lbs. It was very difficult to enter the sleeping bag as well as zip it up. Taking the sleeping bag out of the storage bag I was concerned how I would be able to place it back in. I haven't done it yet, but after reading another review I will be patient. It looks like a nice bag it will work for your dimensions. I purchased this sleeping bag for "safety". To have in my room in case the power/heat were to go out in the Midwest

Not good if your backpacking

Great materials, but literally impossible to put back in the compression bag on your own. I’ve been wrestling with this thing for 20 minutes trying to get it back in the bag and every time it keeps unraveling from the center

Not for Grown Men

Unusable. 6 foot tall male 200lbs. Build quality is fantastic, love the look, but I could not zip up the bag. Length was fine, but you would have to be skin and bones to comfortably fit in this. I made an attempt at using it, but ended up using blankets. Dont buy this online, buy it in store and give it a try first.
