Complete fail

Waistband is incredibly stiff & digs/cuts in. Plus it’s so thick that it reminds me of cheap 80’s gym shorts??! OR was definitely overzealous in adding length to the belt too - because - if one had a waist that was so large it warranted using that much belt then they definitely wouldn’t be able to squeeze their big waist into this tight waistband. The excess “belt” just hangs like a limp noodle. Not a good look. Comparing to previous year’s model, it’s a complete fail. The material is slightly thinner, more roomy around the hips & leg holes, but the waist band is wider, tighter, & more rigid (as I mentioned above). Does anyone even try these things on? Who is designing these?!

I love those

I loved those shorts. The only thing is that I ordered medium while it was ok on my climb it as a it too big for my waist so I just had to tighten it to its max but I’m getting the size small for sure!

Great shorts!

I love these shorts! Lightweight, dry quickly, size S fits me well: I'm usually 4-6 USA sizing depending on brand. Being petite, the 5 inch leg is my favorite length. The waist on these is a little snug, but its fine. Others commented on belt being long: i just either cross it back over to other belt opening and stick it in there or let it hang. It'll be easy enough to cut it and stitch the end when I'm in the mood! The pockets are nice, useful size. I'd buy other colors.

These shorts are really comfortable and I have two pairs in size medium, which is usually my go-to. However, I felt like the legs are cut way more slim than I was expecting and so they fit kind of tightly. The fabric is super soft and stretchy though, so I can still wear them. I use them hiking, since I feel they’re too tight on me for everyday wear (I prefer a wider fit, generally), and they work great. They wick moisture well and almost feel like nothing is there.

Easy keepers

Got the green earlier this summer. I've worn them so much. I just got the blue, the color is a bit deeper than pictured. They're great for work with a nice top. I like the size of the pockets and the zip one keeps my keys and card secure. So easy to wash up. Hand wash at nite, line-dry for morning. They're comfortable on the trail and on a bicycle. Durable, snag resistant, comfortable shorts that look nice, it's a win. Thanks OR!

My everything shorts

I have worn these almost nonstop this summer, for just about everying - travel, hiking, paddling, backyard BBQs, pick up soccer games, etc. I found myself reaching for them over and over because they have the comfort and breathability of running shorts with the functionality and versatility of hiking shorts. I like the longer 5" inseam. Pockets are generous and with a zip pocket on the back for things you want to secure.

These shorts are very comfortable and have great pockets! I got them for hiking, and they have been great for that, but I wear them for every day too. I love the zipper in the back pocket for my wallet, and the front pockets are big enough to comfortably put my hands in. Colors are great too, I’m absolutely getting another pair. Perfect length, not too short and not too long.

Belt is too short to get shorts over butt

These would be great except the built in belt is too short to get over my butt without losing it, it disappears into the waist band and then I have to fish it out for 10 min. Great shorts if you have no butt. It’s an easy fix—make the built in belt longer, but for some reason both times I’ve bought these (2nd time hoping it was fixed) I have the same issue.

favorite shorts

I practically live in these shorts during the warm months! The material is comfortable, the colors are fun, and they don’t restrict my movement. I have an athletic build and often struggle to find casual shorts that don’t feel too tight on my thighs—but that’s not an issue with these. I wear them for everything—gardening, running, biking, hiking, and more.

Great shorts for all occasions

Super light weight, comfy and good-fitting shorts. I wore them every day the first week I had them until I had to put them in the wash. Can’t wait to get them back on! Pockets in just the right places. My only complaint is that the belt is too long, so I have to tuck the loose end into the waistband. Not a dealbreaker at all.
