Great design
Wow! I was really glad to see this. I like having a spoon and fork on me but try to keep it small, light and not too expensive. I have carried a humangear Uno for years - the tines on the fork end are much more useful than those on a typical spork, and the shape feels comfortable to use. Having the option for a more compact storage size is really great. In use it is identical to the original one-piece version. Same length, about the same weight (my Uno is 15g and the Spin is 14g) and the same shape/curve. The pivot is tight, it locks open securely and is pretty easy to snap apart for cleaning. Really a beautifully executed design.
I love this thing!
I’ve been using this spoon/fork combo at work to stop myself from reaching for disposable plastic cutlery, and it’s the bee’s knees! It folds out and clicks securely into a full-sized eating utensil, and folds back up into a cute palm-sized package. The edges of the spoon stick out further than the tips of the fork’s tines when folded up, so the tines aren’t stabbing anything they’re next to while in transport. The tines are also sturdy enough to slice through softer foods without any serrated edges to slice the corner of your mouth on (looking at you, Light My Fire Spork!) The bioplastic material isn’t weird on your teeth like some titanium utensils I’ve tried. Best spork I’ve ever used!
Smallest spork I've seen!
Great utensil! Comfortable to hold and love that I can keep it with me keys. Already used it a number of times since it's always with me.
Sweet
Finally a compact, pocketable utensil that's sturdy enough to actually eat with!
