Features

  • 30-denier superstretch ripstop polyester surface molds to the contours of your body, creating a more comfortable sleeping surface that feels like memory foam

There may be better options

Debated between this or an Exped for months. Decided to save myself some $$ since I'm not camping that often lately, and regret the choice. The item arrived late, with multiple holes around the valve right out of the box, making it impossible to even try out. So disappointing. I live 3 hours from the closest REI store and this thing is going to be a total pain to re-package and return.

I bought 2 of these

I bought 2 of these for car camping. I sleep in the back of my prado. Only had one night on it so far but it was a fantastic sleep. I didn't spend the night wriggling around from a sore back as I do with the air mattress I have (Kathmandu). They do take up a bit of room but we'll worth it for a decent sleep considering my wife had a sore neck for days after sleeping on the air mattress. I got two singles as it gives a few more options over the twin. Not too hard to put away either and inflating took only a few minutes once we had primed it from new the previous night (highly recommend or you will be waiting hours for the foam to inflate. Also means you really want the store inflated as per recommendations).

Would buy it again

Slept on it three nights in a row. It does 90% of the inflation on its own. The greatest comfort was found with just enough air in the mattress where my butt almost touched the ground while on my back. It held air over multiple days.

Comfortable mattress - easy to set up

This mattress is really comfortable - the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it was a huge hassle to put it back in the storage bag (it's not easy to get every little bit of air out of the mattress, so stuffing it back in the bag was tough).

Comfy and High Quality

Brought this as an upgrade to current mattress. These are so comfortable and can be used as home mattress. Really robust - have had a heavy wee boy using this as his trampoline with no impact. Highly recommended if you camp regularly - this will be the most comfy mattress you’ve ever used, with the sponge and air combination working well. Great value for money

comfy, but you will need a pump to deflate it

The monstamat is comfy! It inflated well on its own. The problem came with trying to deflate it, it’s next to impossible. I chose this partly based on price and ease of use, and not thrilled that I will now have to purchase a pump just to deflate it.

Great product

Purchased the Monstamat to go camping this past summer. Very comfortable, we thought far superior to a traditional cheap airbed. We used 2 beside each other with a fitted sheet to make a double bed. Might upgrade to using with stretchers next summer but was acceptable straight on the ground

Amazing

We have two of these mats (and one twin) and have used them 4 times now. They are SO comfortable. We have two adults (one large 6.6ft/98kgs, one small 5.3ft/60kgs) and both slept so well. Can’t believe we have been using air mattresses this whole time whe

Cushy

Super comfortable mattress, especially when paired with the Zempire Speedy Stretcher, but the stretcher isn’t necessary. Used it on the tent floor and in the back of the wagon in comfort. Deflates and rolls up significantly smaller than other touring styl

Excellent mat!

This is an extremely comfortable mat that has given me no issues to date. It inflates quickly, holds air very well, and seems to stay pretty clean despite consistent use. I have 90+ nights with this thing and I am very pleased with this purchase.
