Goodr than I expected!
Now I go through sunglasses often, I tend to buy cheaper ones as I either break them or lose them. I don't suspect I'll lose or break these anytime soon. You can tell the moment you unbox them that they are quality glasses. The hinges are snappy and tough, the material is high quality, the lenses are beautiful to see through and with the design of the Bug G they surround your eyes in a way that makes it almost possible to forget they're on your face. The biggest factor for my purposes are they don't fall off my face, never, not with clip on belay glasses, not looking over parapet walls at height, shaking my head, running, etc. these sunglasses will stay put.
High quality, Excellent function, Fair price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Bug- grass stain. First, I really like the glasses! They fit perfect like a glove to my face shape and size. The range of view is unrivaled, and I VERY rarely (if ever) feel the weight of them on my face during a run or bike workout. Bought these for my first triathlon and I’m glad I did. Initially I was looking at expensive name brand and was dreading the purchase BUT then I found goodr mentioned on an article about “gear for your first triathlon” AND I am so glad I did and you will be too! Any chance you could offer solid black? Would have bought multiple pairs if you had
Literally make me faster on the trails
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elevation is no match with these bad boys on. Snake scurry out of the way in fear of the bug eyed bandit. Buy now.
Wanted them to work really bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Polarized lenses don't work for my job. I thought I could make them work but I was wrong. I must see screens in bright sun. Tilting my head in weird ways just didn't work. They made pressure lines across my face where the frames dug into my skin. They barely fit into the case. The zipper is stressed. Would love a muted color case choice and non polarized lenses. Love goodr's mission statement and culture. These glasses excel at staying in place. I'm keeping them just can't wear them for job like I wanted.
Functional Specs with Good Looks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair of Goodr glasses expecting to be disappointed by their performance, but I was pleasantly surprised. The form factor was different than I've worn for years, and my previous sunglasses had the goldilocks amount of tint, UV protection and visibility under low light. My first through fourth pair of goodr sunglasses have been great. Considering that I spent the same to purchase 4 versus one of my original brand I consider that a win. I'm still not sure about the optics or eye protection. I'm a runner, a DIY'er at home, and away, and my good'r glasses are good on the run, great when I'm out, but they're not worksite ready. They are fun, they make you fashionable, but they aren't what I'd wear for that reason. Otherwise they are great. Just make sure you're able to read your phone wearing them.
Sun burnt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went for a run around the track in middle of the day with a backwards hat and the Grass Stain Hall of Fame sunglasses (ready for intervals). The weirdest and strangest occurrence happened where only the skin around my eyes (under the sunglasses) got burnt. My face was fine but eyelids, and under surface of my eyes were burnt. Not sure why, but was saddened that the sunglasses didn’t work better. They are awesome looking, just wish I didn’t burn.
Sweet shades for exercise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 is that the orange tint when you’re looking through the lenses isn’t as saturated as with some other pairs from goodr. The strong orange tint makes life better! Other than that, no complaints. Fit great, don’t bounce around much at all. Lots of compliments. Make you feel absolutely dialed during workouts!
Great sunglasses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work outdoors and have eye issues! While I have expensive sunglasses, I wanted something affordable and good quality to wear while doing physical labor. Goodr was the right choice for me. My one complaint is the part that rests on your nose does make an indent if you wear them for prolonged periods of time.
Super Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were a gift to my husband whose beloved Smiths finally gave up the ghost. He's a creature of habit and I wasn't sure how he'd adjust to the change. He's been wearing them for a few weeks now and has never looked back. Thanks for the great shades!
Great looking glasses
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my husband as a birthday gift. He loves them. They fit really well. He loves the shape and style. They are high quality sunglasses. They only come in 3 different colors. He got the grass stain hall of frame with the polarized lenses.
