Massive Sizing Discrepancy: Too Tight and Uncomfor
Unfortunately, these leggings are far too tight and small. Both pairs in the picture are from Sweaty Betty, both size S, but you can see just how massive the difference is! The waistband of the grey pair is about the same size as one of my thighs. While I could just about squeeze into them during the try-on, it felt terribly uncomfortable, and getting them off was a real struggle.
Decent enough, same fit as anywhere else
I am pear shaped - these leggings hug the thighs but remain slightly loose at the waist, with the result that they tend to gradually fall down as the elastic contracts towards the knee without anything to keep them up at the top. Result - I keep having to pause to hike them up every few minutes. I had high hopes that after the trending 'women that lift' and seeing so many women in the gym lifting heavy weights I would finally find a pair of leggings designed to fit the bigger thighs and smaller waist that comes with it, especially from a such a brand as sweaty Betty. Sadly not. Just the same fit as everywhere else, which in a different brand might be expected, but I somehow believed SB might be better...
Sculpt Leggings
I’ve worn these a few times now for various activities , so I can now give an informed opinion. Gym, hiking, and running with my dog. I took one star off only because they are a slightly scratchy material. Not itchy, just not as soft as my other leggings. For reference , I’m 5’7 and 116, and YES the leg openings are snug , but once you get them on, they look sleek and sharp! I got a few compliments on them too. I got a size small, so I def think they run on the small side, but I really like the looks of them. Might order another color!
Thick, comfy, and stretchy + a less sweaty bum!
I'm very glad to have bought 4 pairs of these leggings in the sale, having initially tried 2 pairs and then fallen in love. A lot of the reviews said they ran small, so I started with a large, but they were very loose around the waist and knees, and that's coming from someone with heavy legs. I am 5 foot 10 and wear a size 12/14 and a medium is perfect. Despite the thickness of the fabric, they're cool to wear, which is very important as a suffer of the dreaded sweaty bottom. My apologies, but it's true!
Disappointing with funky sizing.
I wanted to love these as they look gorgeous but sadly they didn't live up to the usual SB standard. I ordered my usual medium before reading the reviews about them being on the smaller side. Low and behold when they turned up, the medium were indeed on the small side and uncomfortably tight. I then ordered a large which seemed to fit perfectly - yay! I wore these happily for the best part of the day. ..until they started to fall down. They seemed to stretch more than I expected and I kept having to pull them up. I went back to the medium but sadly these did not stretch as I would have liked. I ended up keeping the large (because I had taken the labels off) but am sadly forever hiking them up, which is not practical for a pair of leggings. Altho I will say the super high waist is gorgeous, even if it doesn't stay up!
Sculpt Leggings in the sale
Ordered in my normal size & when they came I thought perhaps they were too tight. However after wearing them today for 2 high intensity classes they are fabulous. They do suck you in- flattering- & still enough stretch in them to be comfortable whilst working out. I even got a compliment about them! Definitely recommend, I will be buying more when in the sale again.

My first pair of seam free style leggings. They looked very small but have lots of stretch in them, so definitely get your normal size. The detailing in the colour contrast is very flattering and the waist band high. Thicker than the usual Powers I buy but I haven't overheated in a Pump or Balance class as yet. Massive discount in the sale. What's not to love!
My favourite leggings ever!
I bought these leggings a couple of years ago in black and they are my favourite leggings. So secure for CrossFit workouts and never in fear of them being see-through or threads coming loose. I just wish they were still available in plain black as I have worn them to death!
Top rolls down and ankles too tight, but look good
I wanted these as an all round legging, but the waist band is so high that it rolls down when running. They are fine for yoga and walking though. Also surprised at how tight they are at the ankles. I’m a size 14 and got the large which fit everywhere else.

A little heavier quality material. Looks great with matching shirt. Gives the vision of a one piece outfit. Too warm for summer wear. The pants stay up. I stayed with size small. Once on they are perfect. I have a fit athletic body. 129#, 5’4 1/2”.
