Great bag, but zipper snags a LOT.

VERY warm bag. Waiting for the sun zero temps here in Alaska to really put it to the test, and will update my review after that. I got inside it in my living room and was sweating within a minute. I’m only leaving a “first impressions” review because of the zipper. It gets snagged A LOT. More than any bag I’ve had yet. I wish there was something in the design to reduce the zipper snagging. Otherwise, I’ll update with my other findings once the show flies and I go on some extreme winter camping trips!

Great sleeping back, but too heavy on the trails

Great sleeping bag: I have used for the last two years in the Himalayas and kept me warm even at 15,000 feet altitude. The only downside is its weight, which makes it not very suitable for trekking

Zipper broke on Denali, unacceptable, life threatening

Why in the world you design a -40 bag with this dainty fragile zipper is beyond me. It broke on Denali, and could have become a life threatening and or expedition success threatening issue.
