Big Deal!
Okay I just got back from my first trip with this thing and it was transformational. My trip was so much better for it. I was tired of being on the ground and my friends campers kept looking better and better. You can level this up and no roots or rocks under you. I use furniture pads under the feet to protect the tent floor. The cot is heavy, which is good, it doesn’t shift and squeak around, very solid. It’s taut and pretty darn flat. Setup is easy. Check your tent size, it’s rather large. But I was able to put so much gear under it I felt I had more space left than if I had a pad on the floor. Being able to sit on it rather than rolling myself off the floor was great. I’ll also add that we had a monsoon and I had tent trouble, some water inside. Had I been on the floor that would have been bad. I used an older Thermarest pad on it and found it very comfortable. Anyway, if you’re like me and trying to up your tent and sleeping game I highly recommend this cot. Why didn’t I think of it sooner! It really made a big difference.
Fragile?
I unfolded it in my living room to test out; it was comfortable. As I folded it up again, the fabric caught in the metal legs and ripped.
Be careful!
Be careful closing this cot! Fabric caught in leg hinge and ripped with very pressure when closing the cot.
Heavy but worth it for extended car trips.
Heavy but worth it for extended car trips. I gave it a 4 star review because it gets you high off the ground. I highly recommend that you get a good sleeping pad to put on top. Setup is nice and fast. Take down is just as easy.
Too long
Bought two of these to use with our Pro TM v2. They are too long for the bedroom section. Very disappointed that we have to clamber over one bed to reach the second and then get covered in bruises due to sharp corners. We thought they’d transform our experience but they are not what we hoped for. I don’t understand why the stretcher would not be designed to fit in sleeping pods. On a positive note they do keep you warm by being off the ground and you can store stuff under them. They just need to be shorter.
Amazingly comfortable
Wow! as an older lady with back issues sleeping on air pads on the ground with my kids is no longer an option. I lasted a mere 3 hours when I tried to do a camp out with my son a few days ago. I immediately came to the REI website to see if there was a better option and I struck gold. I purchased this cot in the largest size available with the intention of it being suitable for any adult in our family or even a couple of smaller children doubled up while not having to worry it will topple if they are climbing in and out or horsing around a bit. This cot is NOT light, so it's strictly for car or back yard camping only but man alive is it comfortable and incredibly easy to set up. I did add an extra layer between the feet and the bottom of the tent just to be safe to not cause added wear and tear. The material has just a bit of give but not so much that it caused any sagging. Writing this review at the same time as I am purchasing a second cot for my kids, as the air pad option isn't cutting any longer for my kiddo who injured his back at a young age as well. Cannot recomend this sleeping cot enough if you need a roomy/stable sleeping surface.
Comfortable
I purchased 2 of these cots for a basecamp at a remote construction site. They provide a great nights sleep and are large enough for XL sized sleepers. They are very easy to deploy and are stable to sit on. I would not suggest this cot for a situation where it is moved every day as the cot is quite heavy. For a basecamp setup the cot is superior to everything else I have tried.
Overall good
These are good, very easy to put up but a little on the heavy side. I only gave it 3stars because I thought my Monstamat king single was compatible with this like the description says but the bed is longer then the mat and the elastic corners wont sit over the mattress an absolutely useless feature! Disappointing

Good solid bed. wide enough
Good solid bed. wide enough for a grown adult. It is easy to set up and fold away and pretty comfortable for a camp stretcher. Only issue that i see is the small area of the feet would cause pressure on the tent floor. A wider foot print would spread the pressure
