Sizing is off
These sizing for these shoes is completely off. I am a size 38 in most Danskos and Birkenstocks, but I would have to size one or two sizes down to get the length right. Then I wonder if the width would fit. Such a bummer, because these are otherwise exactly what I was looking for. A closed toe sandal with a supportive arch.
Cute but super long!
This shoe is super cute and I love that it covers the toes and heel when I don't have time for a pedicure. However, this shoe is also super long. I ended up having to size down from my normal size 38 to a 36! I'm a true size 7.5 for reference. On rare occasions I wear a size 37 when the shoes run big, so I was shocked when the 36 fit (with some room in the length). My feet are also a little on the wide side, especially at the ball of my foot, right before my toes start due to bunions, etc. and they fit fine now. I am a little worried that they might be snug in that area when my feet swell due to summer heat, but hopefully I can wear them plenty of times before then to stretch them out, as they are a great shoe for spring and fall time too. They even look cute with socks, if you are inclined enough to wear them in the winter!
Great shoes
These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They are medium width but slightly wider than the typical medium. I needed 1 size smaller than anticipated. The buckle is a faux buckle and the strap is just velcro. Overall a super comfortable and cute shoe, especially if your foot likes some room. Highly recommend.
