Functioned well on two-night, 3-day trek

I’m a 54-year-old avid hiker and camper who is just getting into backpacking because my daughter is trying to earn her backpacking merit badge. This pack was recommended to me, as I wanted an affordable, quality pack. It did not disappoint. My load was about 26 pounds (Did I mention I’m new to backpacking?), but the pack supported it well and was very comfortable. I appreciated the adjustable, inflatable back support. I wish there were more places to hook carabiners to the back of the backs similar to my daypack, which is the reason I didn’t give it a 10.

Super Comfy, lightweight pack, great for weekend getaways or big Treks in the Himalayas.

I'm a professional mountain biker racer who uses trekking and backpacking for cross training. For the past 4 years I've taken the Motion 60 backpack all over the Nepali Himalayas. Up to Everest Base Camp x3, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang etc.. The backpack is great as it is light, super comfy with the air chamber along the back, and has very useful pockets. The main compartment can pack more then enough for 2 weeks of trekking in the mountains, yet it's also great for shorter weekend getaways. The durability is also very good as the pack is still holding up well after 5 years of heavy use. To top it off the price is very reasonable when compared to other back pack companies.

Klymit Motion 60 Backpack

I have used this backpack for multiple hikes and hunts so far. The AirFrame technology is revolutionary and a far upgrade from my old aluminum frame backpack. Having the ability to add or decrease air to adjust the pack to your body build makes this backpack great for all different size individuals as well as different weight loads. It has plenty of attachment points to place a carabiner, tent, sleeping mat, or really strap down items carried in the pockets. The hood and water resistant fabric is a wonderful addition as well to keep your gear dry and protected. Finally, the lightweight backpack with a capacity of 60L allows you to pack everything you need for a camping trip.

Almost awesome.

Took this pack out for a week-long trek around some trails near the Rae Lakes Loop along thr John Muir Trail. On day 1, the chest strap stitching ripped completely off so I was without a snapped buckle connecting the two shoulder straps at my upper torso for the whole trip. It was a mild inconvenience compared to other things that could have gone wrong, but it was still disheartening considering the durability that was expected. Although this pack is "one size fits all," sized at its largest, there was still too much weight on my shoulders. I adjusted the velcro so that it was beyond where there would be a typical adjustment so that some of the fabric was doubled over on itself and then it worked great after that. The rain cover included came in handy as it hailed for two days but it's a very thin and light material prone to ripping if you lean against granite (avoid it at all times). The inflatable frame was a novel concept. It seemed to work fine without any issues. During the same rip, my buddy's pack completely fell apart.

Great light water repellent backpack

I like this bag so much that I've bought it 3 times. The only reason iI gave it 4 stars was because of the hip belt velcro becomes weak over time and has come out while backpacking. I took the pack to a shop to have it permanently sowed in place. The first backback failed over time by the metal suports wearing through the bottom..the second was stollen..the third (new version) im liking better but still removing the air bladder and replacing it with a sit pad..still needs/wanting ice axe loop..
