Boab synthetic sleeping bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boab synthetic sleeping is a great car camping or base camping bag. It's key feature is that it allows you to unzip the bag all the way flat like blanket. It's very roomy even for tall people. The zippers are also another key feature. The zippers have some chord weaved through them that helps prevent snags and ease the zipping process. Although the boab sleeping bag rolls up wide and heavy, 5 lbs, its weight is not ideal for backpacking. You could still fit it in a back pack. For the price point the boab sleeping bag is a great buy with multiple length and width options. Along with excellent ventilation.
Excellent warmth, on the larger side
This sleeping bag is solid and warm, and it'd be comfortable in the upper 20s. The only problem for me was that the length of the bag was a bit too big for what it says "Regular". I'm 5 10, and when I use the bag, it has well 1 foot extra space, which in lower 20F might become a problem. (of course, you can stuff down your bag with your clothes and a bottle of hot water).
The Perfect Summer Bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm segment backpacking the Colorado Trail and needed a lighter weight bag for the warmer trips out, and this bag is perfect all the way around, literally! I'm 5'2", 115# and the short length is wonderful in terms of roominess, length, and packability. The included compression sack really gets this bag cinched down. The zipper is easy to use, it doesn't catch and it's a great option to open the foot of the bag or open it all the way into a quilt! This sleeping bag really is the best!!
Great bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great all around bag. Not crazy heavy and being able to unzip the bottom for ventilation keeps you comfortable in the warmer months but also super warm when it gets chillier. This past weekend I went on a trip when it got pretty chilly and damp and I was super cozy. The material makes it great for damp and wet weather by repelling water but not making it all sticky. Love this bag.
wide love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spend most my summer in a sleeping bag in Grand Canyon. I've been looking for a bag that is synthetic, offers more leg space than a mummy bag but with a hood so I don't loose my pillow in the river when I sleep on my raft. Not too bulky so it fits nicely in my dry bag. Zips all the way open so on warmer nights I can just sleep on top of it. Perfect fit for this traveling river girl.
Light and warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does the job well. Make sure you aren’t going to bed in layers of clothes. Sleeping bags are designed to hold warmth from body heat. Go to bed in base layers at most.
Great sleeping bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it recently, temp went down to 8 Celsius and was very comfortable. Got the Regular wide 1c, like the extra room. Zipper are great.
Durable and Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems durable which is what I wanted in contrast to my down bag. I appreciate the shorter length!
Great sleeping bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps you warm and not too bad in somewhat warm weather. Very comfortable
