Works well

One of the better helmet holders on the market. It's a very tight, which is great. However, there have been a couple days so far where the helmet was hit halfway out of the helmet holder; the holder was falling towards the top/center of the helmet (because branches had hit the bottom of the helmet, pushing the helmet up and out). The tightness prevented it from falling out, but it was close enough that a couple more whacks against a tree branch would surely push it out (I keep crampons and goggles in the helmet, so losing the helmet would mean losing other vital gear). However, it would help it the helmet holder fabric itself was a little larger. Or maybe a 5th clip on a long adjustable cord that can attach the top of the helmet holder to the bottom (passing underneath the helmet, while the fabric holds over top the helmet). This would provide additional tension on the fabric, pulling it down at both sides of the helmet (front and back), ensuring that the helmet never slips backwards (to one side), pushing the helmet out of the holder.
