Pack is durable, aesthetically pleasing, and very comfortable. At 3.5 lb it has a good amount of comfort, features, and space for the price and weight. My two critiques of this pack: The side pockets are a tad too tight, and there should be two more loops for lashing points somewhere in the middle.
Solid product. I recently started using the Paragon on my Appalachian Trail maintenance work and have found it outstanding. It has held up to not just common hiking content and abuse, but to sharp tools and extreme abuse.
